Lydia Hearst For Myla Lingerie
August 3rd, 2008 by kpriss
What could convince you to buy lingerie? Besides the actual need and the obvious measurement judging and choosing, what could get you into spending more for acquiring underwear?
If ads campaigns are among your reasons for buying lingerie, here’s an interesting one: Lydia Hearst for Myla. What’s Myla? A lingerie brand that could ring a bell if you were watching SATC – Samantha once worn the Freshwater pearl G-string. Aside from that, Myla London is the world’s best selling lingerie brand per square foot. (Interesting way to measure one’s market success!) (more pictures after the jump)
Fergie Brown Shoe Collection
August 3rd, 2008 by kpriss
And another one adding to the celeb -turned-designer tribe. Fergie is going for shoes. Her collection is called Brown Shoe and it’s due for Spring 2009.
I’m unsure if the models exhibited are all the collection there is, but I counted a dozen different models more on the platform-gladiator style, one uglier than the other. Is this inspiring in any way? Why doesn’t she look happy for the collection launch? It’s like she’s in pain! Well, sista, to tell you the truth, I would’ve been too if I had to present such ugly shoes!

Not Easy Like Sunday Morning!
August 3rd, 2008 by kpriss
I think you know by now that every Sunday it’s time for a little image browsing and choosing one photo most inspiring for that moment.
Well, today’s image is worth more than the proverbial thousand words and I think there’s no need for more explanation, the pixels tell the story. The photo is called “Kansas Police Photo”. I was actually wondering if it’s an event depicted from reality or staged.
I for one go beyond the tragic first glance of the image and say that the real feel (at least for me) of this pictured event is larger than life. Larger than any possible pain, disaster or happening. It’s survival at the state of art. Does it look authentic to you?

Plastic Surgery Without Moderation
August 2nd, 2008 by kpriss
How many women turn more and more to plastic surgery improvements to get a higher self esteem? To get a chance at the spotlight and earn other’s respect?
That of course, assuming that beauty does all this and more. If not, you can always think that age-less women are more interesting, even if they have to pay fortunes and endure hell just to cheat old years. Well here’s one of those plastic-tried-persons confessing the sad truth:
“I’VE had [a] face-lift, eye job and all that stuff. It didn’t help me one bit. It didn’t get me happier or make me look particularly younger” – Kathy Griffin
Reassuring?

Natalie Portman Meierville Apartment
August 2nd, 2008 by kpriss
In case you were wondering how some of the celebrity houses look like, this is an example. Located in one of Richard Meier’s three glass towers, Natalie Portman’s 2,500sqft apartment is on the market for $6,5 Million.
They call it splendor in the glass, I call it observation room. It’s like the world watches you from everywhere. But I guess if you pay $6,5 Million, you want the world to see you and where you’re at. I don’t find it all that impressive. What do you think? (click picture to see larger image)

Lily Cole, Sasha Pivovarova, Shalom Harlow Tiffany & Co
August 2nd, 2008 by kpriss
I’m more and more into Sasha. She can be trashy, she can be highly sensual, she can be playful and she can be so delicate at the same time.
To me it’s like the perfect model. Versatile, fashionable skinny (yes, I know, I’m not arguing health, I’m just saying a model should model and that just what she does). She molds into every campaign like she’s belonging. Anyway, besides beautiful Sasha, Shalom and Lily also make an appearance for Tiffany. Which one do you prefer? Sunbathing Trends
August 1st, 2008 by kpriss
The word is that the beaches on the Cote d’Azur are going topless-less. Why’s that happening and is it a good thing, I thought I’d ask you too.
Some say that skin cancer threats are getting to the women’s health conscience. Some say Europe is going conservative. Some would think that bathing suits have become so beautiful that women just can’t help wearing the entire thing. Some would vote for the baby boom trend and the breast feeding signs. What would it be? First of all – is topless a good thing or a bad thing? (you can vote right after the image). Second – why the topless sunbathing women are becoming an endangered species?

Louis Vuitton Japan
August 1st, 2008 by kpriss
Some more news from the Twilight Zone, the Concrete Couture District. There’s a new Louis Vuitton flagship store for Japan. The concept is signed by the Dutch UNStudio (Ben van Berkel, Carole Bos and many others) and there’s no available information about where this store it’s going to be placed or when.
This won’t stop me from sharing this news with you and ask for your opinion. It’s a 10 store building on three levels, each store divided into four leaves. (more pictures after the jump)
