Once Upon a Time, There Was a Pile of Junk, Now it’s an Army of Little Robots
April 2nd, 2008 by kpriss
Having kids opens one’s eyes and spirit for ludic and everything related. This article was brought to you from my love for playfulness.
These pictures represent actual robots, sculptures made by Gordon Bennett. Combining new and old found objects emerging from garbage dumps, basements, construction sites and garage sales he managed to mix wood, metal, bakelite, glass, plastic, rubber and paint to create uniqueness.
This Season’s Flowers Trends
April 2nd, 2008 by kpriss
Now that changes a bit from the usual catwalk news! I thought it’s not only useful to know, but also a pleasure for the eye.
For this seasons, Bloom florist announces that it’s all about mixing different elements to create a unique feeling of blossoming freshness (oh, I could go on like this forever! I’m beginning to get the hang of it..). Combining spring branches with different length clustered grouping flowers and constantly changing proportions would result in numerous ways of beautifully arranged bouquets.
Visions of Inevitability – Madonna Elle US May 2008
April 2nd, 2008 by kpriss
After Elle UK, Madge confortably takes cover for Elle US edition for the May Issue. I guess budget-cuts originated this.
However, the worst part is, well.. the high laced boots? They appear again, only in a more groomed version in light brown leather. And please enjoy some more madge-wisdom (this time talking about the madge-husband):
ELLE: What’s his favorite hobby?
M: Jujitsu. I don’t get it—grown men throwing each other around. But he loves it.

Little Treasures – Brangelina Twins Pictures $10 Million
April 2nd, 2008 by kpriss
After the amazing paycheck raised by the JLo’s Max and Emme gracefully covered by People Magazine, the world is bidding for the next wonders – Brangelina’s twins.
You think it’s too early to start the offers? Well, seems like money won’t wait for nature to finish its long 40 weeks course.
The National Enquirer Executive Editor, Barry Levine confirms the highest expectations for Angelina’s pregnancy – up to $10 million for exclusive babies first photos!
If something like that will happen, and the rumored twins pregnancy proves to be a golden one for the glamorous couple, one thing is sure – they’ll give up for charity if not all, at least a significant part of the obtained money (after taxes information became public, also did the Brangelina’s last year more than $8 million donations to charity).
So anyone willing to bid already?

Katie Holmes Has a New Short Bob
April 1st, 2008 by kpriss
And I was wondering how she’ll be holding up all things considered. Now here’s the first sign of a woman in distress:
Katie Holmes just cut her hair even shorter! Katie’s short bob was photographed at a quick outing for pie pieces from Pizzeria Mozza all in the highest discretion. (as if she could ever pass unnoticed!). I’m still waiting for that radical blonde thing! What about you? Is she going too far?

Marion Cotillard’s Oscar Chopard Necklace
April 1st, 2008 by kpriss
Remember that beautiful Red Carpet Mermaid from the latest Oscar’s edition? Well, Marion Cotillard was, in my opinion, completely out of Hollywood’s fashion, stating a style of her own, timeless and priceless.
She was my Oscar night faiblesse. Flawless presence, flawless outfit and accessories. Chopard adorned her with the Oscar – Necklace for that night, as it appears the well known jewelry giant dresses a best actress or best supporting actress since 2004. Marion Cotillard wore a $2.6 million champagne diamond briolette (a pear-shaped or oval gemstone, especially a diamond, cut in long triangular facets) looking perfectly matched to her modest air from that night. Admiring its vintage look, I would have never guessed it was such a treasure, would you?

Your Weekly Celeb-Turned-Designer – Nicole Richie Maternity Line
April 1st, 2008 by kpriss
I know you were secretly hoping this was all over and done with! Now I came to spoil your wishing well with news about yet another celebrity turned designer!
Nicole Richie already announced a jewelry line (due September) now she’s making you part of another great idea – a maternity line (unspecified launch date, surely this year). If you’re curious to know what inspired the new mummy in creating her line, well, it’s Balenciaga’s Nicolas Ghesquière!
Proudly wearing, as she declares, jeans until six months and heels until nine months, she’s going for a “showing your best self, not your tired, worn-down self. Guys don’t go through that, they just don’t understand” statement.
So for my next pregnancy I’ll get to wear Balenciaga-esque Nicole Richie maternity designs? I can hardly wait! Hope it’ll be more than just extraterrestrial motorcycle outfits and horrific shoe-prints to scare the unborn children out of their mother’s womb! How’s this maternity-hip upcoming line sound to you (of course, if you happen to be a “guy”, like Ms Richie says, then you’re absolutely left out because you “just don’t understand”)?

Would you Pay $260 to Have Footprints on Your Longchamp Handbag?
April 1st, 2008 by kpriss
I remember when I wanted to buy the “Pliage” Longchamp. Then I reconsidered myself because everybody had a Pliage of their own.
I’m one of those fashion egoists who loves to have one of a kind things. It was one of the reasons I liked vintage so much. Even if it’s so very practical, this Longchamp fever didn’t catch me. Now I look at a limited edition bag made by Jeremy Scott for Longchamp with stomp marks all over it and ask myself why would anyone consider it glamorous and be seduced by the idea of having sole marks on their handbag.. Help me understand, please!
