Target is targeting designers more and more. After the sneak peak at the Monika Botkier Collection that hits stores on July 20, the news for two more heavy high fashion deals emerges.

Anya Hindmarch will create a handbag collection for the street chic chain and Singerson Morrison a footwear line. Returning to the Botkier Target Collection – aside from the clutches (pretty and suited when talking party) I thought the metallic big ones are very good looking. Or maybe it’s just me, still loving metallic handbags. What do you say?

America is and always will be fascinated with everything-Britain-related. You may look at the title of this article and raise eyebrows saying “who is Paul Burrell” or maybe you’ll just look at the title like it was nothing. Paul Burrell isn’t an anonymous. And he isn’t a clothing/accessory designer either. He is nothing, actually.

He’s just a money loving shadow of his former self – he was the butler of Diana Princess of Wales. And he hasn’t honored her memory in any way. Now he lives in the US, in Florida and makes a living by associating his former occupation and the name of the late Princess with everything he does.

After inventing himself a three-books-writer, a wine-maker ($11/bottle), now he goes into jewelry with pieces inspired by the late Diana’s taste in gems: 18-karat tri-color, 1.14-carat Diamond Flower Ring ($1,700), white and rose gold 1.85-carat Diamond Flower Pendant with chain ($2,500). Going to that much trouble to earn his millions makes Paul Burrell an honest man?

I have to advise you against falling in love with these chandeliers! I kinda did and now I’m thinking of building a dream house around those two large ones, something to match their unusual beauty.

I don’t go decoration-hunting any day and won’t let myself impressed with many things but these look like stolen right from the nature or like some fringe-forgotten frock. How do you like your home? Modern or close to nature decorated?

It doesn’t surprise me one bit to see that more and more, designers are migrating from the catwalk into some other “fashion” related fields. Geographically, this pattern records high concentration in the Dubai area.

The hotel designed by Elie Saab is in direct relation with the Tiger Woods designed golf course, in an exclusive gold community with clubhouse, spa, palaces, mansions, villas and community service facilities. A city in itself.

Every detail of the hotel’s interiors will reflect my signature element that is defined by a fusion of simplicity, luxury and modernism to create a dreamlike ambiance. This is a first for me in terms of designing the interiors of a hotel, a reason why this project is especially close to my heart and will draw the best of my creative sensibilities.

Let’s imagine for a second that you would be given the opportunity to spend some time (like in days) in such a resort. Would you consider it an honor? Staying in a hotel where the interior decoration is signed by Elie Saab would mean just as much as wearing one of his dresses?

When celebrating your engagement and being a very public person, everyone expects no less than the best from you. So party and speech are in order.

Tommy Hilfiger celebrated his engagement with former model Dee Ocleppo in a party Monday in Manhattan. During the very special party, Tommy made a splashing declaration:

If I’d known it was going to be this great, I would have been engaged a lot earlier.

I asked you once if you were into vintage and now I’ll ask you again (who knows, maybe this campaign will change your mind)…Clothing charity Traid is organizing a Visa fashion swapping event in London and Lindsay is the spokeface for this ethical fashion campaign.

The bad news is that even so, she manages to engage her leggings into the vintage photo shoot along with a Missoni – like printed top that was perfectly beautiful even without the leggings. But I guess that’s as part of her skin as the freckles (you can see the rest of the pictures from the campaign right after the jump).

Why not, after all? In a few years we’ll have toilet paper signed by some fancy celebrity! I’m starting to feel a strange trend in the air: it’s over with “sex sells” it’s “a name sells” just about everything and anyhow.

So, the big news is that Jessica Simpson prepares a lingerie collection for spring 2009. I wonder if the fashion houses that engaged in the hunting party against the counterfeits campaign ever imagined a darker future than they’re trying hard to eradicate now! Because if this celeb thing goes any longer, we will soon replace the regular fake LV or Hermes with a regular original Perez Hilton par exemple. What’s worse?
