Random Fashion Fact Of The Day: Stella McCartney, Vegan Fashion Designer
January 29th, 2013 by kpriss
Have I told you about my fashion reading routine? The daily kind? It involves around 2,000+ websites, personal blogs, tumblrs, pinterest pages. Every day. Every day I go through this endless press review end I end up picking around 5 or 6, sometimes more, sometimes less to talk about. Because reading / browsing through so much material is nothing unless I find that ‘sparkle’ to ignite my fashion interest.
Now: you know I like visiting Garance Dore’s website every now and then, see what she’s been up to. And I happen to find a little sparkle there. Something to brighten up my fashion day, something – like today – I end up watching for more than 10 minutes. 10. minutes. In fashion! It’s like 10 years in human time!
But what’s a minute when you’re listening to Stella McCartney talk? About life, fashion, being a vegan and a fashion designer at the same time? About keeping the balance straight between her personal life and her professional life? About her babies’ first encounter (cue – it’s the DJ). No, definitely not worth a second thought: 10 minutes watching Stella McCartney is a whole lotta fashion sparkle! Here, you try it, after the jump!
Megan Fox Is Back: Marie Claire UK March 2013
January 29th, 2013 by kpriss
Remember when everyone was complaining and whining about Megan Fox appearance in Vanity Fair’s Jude Apatow special guest edited issue? And about her deja – vu, cheesy pictures? I bet you’re having second thoughts about that now, huh?
Megan Fox is back. And she’s taking is slow, one magazine cover at the time. But you know she’ll get to world domination soon enough. Now it only depends on us: are we going to allow her comedian breakthrough? (I admit, I haven’t seen ‘This is 40’ yet, so I actually have no idea if she’s any good at being funny, but I do admire her for trying – at least she has aspirations and she’s not just ‘the Transformers girl’ anymore)
Back to the UK Marie Claire March 2013 issue now: Megan Fox, as we all remember her, as photographed by Matt Jones.

January 29th, 2013 by kpriss
Sam Edelman is planning to take over the world. And he’s not planning on doing that one shoe at the time! No, the expansion includes all kinds of apparel and accessories. Because… well, a girl can’t wear her shoes only, she has to put some clothes and accessories on also. So why not make it Sam Edelman’s business to offer it all?
And because they’re not going for half measures, like I just said, they hired the new buzz – girl to advertise with: Kate Upton. Wait, it gets better!
Emma Stone, Ben Affleck, Bradley Cooper And More: Vanity Fair March 2013
January 29th, 2013 by kpriss
But there’s so much more going on inside this Vanity Fair March 2013 issue! Bruce Weber is responsible for the cover as well as for the entire Hollywood portfolio, the 19th of its kind.
Because, as you all know, in the wake of the Oscars, Vanity Fair issues its Hollywood portfolio. The hottest of the hottest Hollywood stars are rounded up in a – usually stunning – series of photographs. And such is the case right now, under master Bruce Weber’s directions, they all line up and act up in a 44 – page portfolio.
Looking nice on the cover, an interesting trifecta of Hollywood winners: Emma Stone, the undeniable crowned Hollywood sweetheart, Ben Affleck, the indisputably talented Hollywood wonder act, Bradley Cooper, the untouchable Hollywood charmer.

Kate Moss Campaigns For Rag & Bone. Again
January 29th, 2013 by kpriss
Our favorite British model is campaigning again. This time, it’s not the usual Versace slick – tan – ness, but the urban savvy style signed Rag & Bone. Yes, Kate Moss returned for yet another advertorial season and worked on yet another ad campaign: Rag & Bone Spring Summer 2013 ad campaign.
However, if the precedent campaign was shot in London, this time, the décor is the rural Cotswolds. The name may sound familiar since Kate Moss (and many other celebrities) fell head over heels with Cotsworlds’ rustic charms and bought a residence there. More: Kate Moss chose Cotswolds’ St Peter’s Church for her wedding to Jamie Hince.
