It took a single evening and a single Angelina Jolie to make the tuxedo a must-wear for every lady who wants to make the best impression while attending an official event. Just like she did when sticking her leg out the leg slit, Angelina set a tuxedo trend we can’t help but notice and note everywhere.
Although I’m a girly girl at heart and I have my eyes set out for the pink and the ruffled dresses, I welcome this power-statement formal wear trend! Let’s see some of the beautiful and famous ones so we can take proper inspiration! The BAFTA Red Carpet, where Angie and Ruth Wilson were my favorite ladies:

What would a hot Red Carpet event be without its fair share of hits and misses? British singer Jessie J managed to attend two separate Awards Ceremonies this past week and get a worse dressed label each time!
And that although she was wearing a Tom Ford total look one night and the other she was playing it too matchy-matchy. So let’s see how she got herself down the Fashion Disaster rabbit hole and what we can learn from her style mistakes!
Jessie J Elle Style Awards Fashion Disaster
This may sound odd to many fashprofessionals and fashamateurs, but getting all style-wrong while wearing a Tom Ford dress and Tom Ford boots is indeed possible! Here’s how:

Remember a few days ago when everyone went crazy over Taylor Swift’s dramatic haircut? Something’s in the (h)air as more and more celebrities choose to change their hairstyle as of late!
Rihanna and Katy Perry dark fringed bob
are the latest to join the chop flock . Regardless of how odd it may appear, the truth is simply out there: stage-rocking ladies went for the bob hairstyle with heavy fringe (hanging straight above the eyebrows line for Riri and Katy and sideswept for Taylor)

If you’re rooting for Spring, just like I am, you’ll most likely enjoy this little Dolce&Gabbana meltdown I’m having today!
Just browsing through my feed this morning, I came across three different gorgeous ladies wearing three different fabulous dresses, all with the same label: Dolce&Gabbana! Unable to pick a favorite, I’ll start with:
Sarah Jessica Parker floral flared Dolce&Gabbana dress
While attending The Tonight Show hosted by Jimmy Fallon last Monday, Sarah Jessica Parker chose a classic girly dress from Dolce&Gabbana which she paired with Manolo lace pumps.

Less is more. However, more Tom Ford, the better! I’m constantly surprised by the simplicity of the collections he creates, almost as he would set up to demonstrate the ‘less’ theory. All in costing more.
The Fall Winter 2014 2015 Tom Ford collection was more about special textures rather than revolutionary cuts. Sartorially sharp sequins, velvet, fur cleverly collided in a handful of ultra feminine designs for any and all ages.
Boots and booties
Tom Ford made it clear that they’re just as dress-able as the clothes themselves so he sent velvet and precious leather footwear down the London Fashion Week runway. While the skirts and dresses finished in boots below the knees with cowboy flavor and stiletto silhouette, he made sure to add some ankle boots for elegant pants.

Europe is the new black! Fashion Week is officially ongoing and Europe based for the next couple of weeks (London is on right now, we still have Milan and Paris to look forward to). The 2014 BAFTAs just happened. This news-snack fest rounds some of the biggest style&entertainment headlines of the past couple of days!
Kate Middleton Jogging Outfit
Looking just like any of us only classier and well, a princess, Kate Middleton took her sweet baby boy, Prince George, her dog, Lupo, for a jog in the park. And we can’t help but admire how normal yet gorgeous she looks!

Fall should be so much about raining and cloudy sky that Marc Jacobs imagined the right weather matching fashion ever in his Fall Winter 2014 2015 collection!
Swearing this is far from being retro inspired, the looks designed and sent by Marc Jacobs on the New York Fashion Week runway kept providing a familiar feeling of déjà-vu. Simple constructions, earth-toned, basic items building up a layered approach of the cold season.
Ankle boots with lateral zipper
Zippers have been a style helper this fashion week season. At least as far as footwear goes, I’ve seen it again and again, so it’s hardly a surprise to find it again in Marc Jacobs’ Fall 2014 collection – notice the rounded heel!

A girl can wear as many looks as she pleases, but some outfits are mandatory in one’s wardrobe! Badgley Mishcka designed a handful of timeless looks to remember and re-create in the privacy of everyone’s wardrobe!
Voluminous skirts or pencil skirts alike complete lady-like classy silhouettes for office hours as well as out-of-office occasions. Smart, elegant, sassy, the 7 looks I want you to save for later inspiration start with:
Head-to-toes black look
While wearing an all-black outfit may sound too harsh, style-wise, Badgley Mischka added a small but meaningful detail to balance out the very dark look: a bow-belt! The snake print tights are also a key element in differentiating this ensemble from all others. Notice the textured fabric as well as the bejeweled gloves!
