Have You Seen Victoria Beckham’s Baby Bump?
February 10th, 2011 by kpriss
Neither have I!
UPDATE: You can see Victoria’s Baby Bump Here!
The lady sure looks flawless! And even if I’m sure she could tell us, if asked, that she put on some weight here and there and her bum is showing, and then, the eyes of the world would be peeled in disbelief at her tiny impeccable frame. While Pregnant.
Victoria Beckham, ladies and gents, has a little bun in the oven! And rumor has it that it’s a girl! Now it may be too soon to know, traditionally, however, I read somewhere that some ultrasounds can actually show you with 90% accuracy, what your baby’s gonna be from the very first weeks. Time will tell..
Also – Nothing stands between Vicky B. and her Loubs. Not even a pregnancy! (photos via)

Tavi About What Made Her So Popular, Fashion And More
February 10th, 2011 by kpriss
As you know, I rarely enjoy a piece of good fashion (or not so much about fashion) read. And whenever I find something noteworthy, I make it a pleasure to share with you. Such is the case with Tavi Gevinson interviewed by Katie Couric. (you may know her from CBS Evening News?)
Naturally curious about Tavi and her fashion ways, I was surprised to read her addressing herself naturally on fashionable issues like what made her blog popular, how she felt entering the Fashion World, among the grands (literally) and how she juggles her school every day life and her fashionable activities. After the jump you’ll find some fragments from the original interview (that you can read here; in case you’re not familiar with Tavi’s website, you can find it here)

The Fashion People. Long Time Ago
February 10th, 2011 by kpriss
I’m on a photo spree lately – not taking the pictures myself since I’m a complete mess at it – I’m pretty sure the point and shoot auto focus camera were made for me! My photo spree is mainly inspirational photo starring. Day after day, I find myself gazing at beautiful photos, some of them I’m even bringing here to share and stare together!
It’s been few days already since I’m following a series over at self service magazine with respectable Fashion People in their young days. I’m loving it! And even though I wanted to wait for it to be over and come with the story in its entirety, I can’t wait any longer, you have to see these fashpeople! Now! come, come, click through, I’m sure you’ll love it too!
Crystal Renn About Weight And Being A Model
February 9th, 2011 by kpriss
A model with a story. That’s what the world likes. Everywhere. Even in the fashion industry, a model with a story is stronger and more wanted than a perfectly sized clothes hanger.
The more drama you live, the more they want to know about you. The more turmoil you’ve experienced in your existence, the more they want you to expose it. All of it! That’s why we don’t get tired of Crystal Renn! She’s so driven and dedicated, so into fashion, it’s hard to not take into consideration the part she played in trying to change the way we see models.
And that’s the catch – we perceive the models catwalking in those fancy couture clothes as the very standard of perfection. Physical perfection. Why? What makes a zero size model “more” perfect than a 10 size normal, woman?
Gisele Bundchen Doesn’t Use Sunscreen
February 9th, 2011 by kpriss
Because it’s poison, she said! It’s true that some sunscreens can provide more chemicals than protection, but giving it up altogether is highly debatable.
Biensur our darling Gisele only swears that “I do not use anything synthetic”. Of course you don’t! That’s why you’re not wearing any makeup for all those glitzy glamorous photo shootings! And she’s only exposing her precious body to the sun before 8 a.m. . Of course you do! It’s well known that the fashion people are early people…
Also – Gisele, would you be so kind as to hire a PR person to do the talking for you? I’m sure you mean good, but you just don’t know how to say it! (via)

Lea T Talks About Herself. More Love Pictures
February 9th, 2011 by kpriss
Everybody who knows anything about fashion knows about Lea T. What’s his story? What’s her story?
You can take the time, watch the video below, it’s an interview with Lea T where she talks about how life really is for her and how people look at her, how she and Riccardo Tisci came up with the idea of the Fall Winter 2010 campaign. Since I asked earlier what service does Love’s cover with Kate Moss kissing Lea I watched the video, looking for my answer. And I got it – none whatsoever except bringing her in the spotlight. Showing that the world cares for her kind.
Also – are you sure you’re not mistaking “care for” with freak of the moment? Fashion is a cruel theater, daahling! Keep your guard up! (photos via)
Elle Fanning In Rodarte’s Curve Of Forgotten Things
February 9th, 2011 by kpriss
I’m trying so much to go deep into the meaning of some fashion things… So much I sometimes forget it’s all about fashion and … well, it should be fun. Instead it creeps the style out of me.
After viewing the “powder room” delirium, I now took the time and patience to watch the last Rodarte: The Curve of Forgotten Things. A mad, mad video starring Elle Fanning, directed by Todd Cole. The images are impeccable and artsy. Up until Elle begins to jump through walls and dress herself with the curtains (oh yes, it’s a major spoiler in a long, too long short movie where almost nothing happens until Elle tantrically becomes one with a giant shiny orb).
Also – you might want to check out your garage, never know what Rodarte put in there! (via)
Dress Your Dolls, The Viktor And Rolf Style!
February 9th, 2011 by kpriss
We’ve been trying to teach our daughter the wonders and joys of playing with dolls. It seems to be a failed mission, that one, since all she cares about are cars and constructions with her brothers. Oh well, more dolls for me, then, huh?
So in that spirit, and with the secret, sacred hope that she’ll be turning to her dolls one day, I’ll enchant my eyes and spirit with some pretty fancy dolls! Dressed by Viktor and Rolf, the couture dolls were exhibited less than a year ago in an Antwerp Gallery.
The dolls looked pretty and special and pretty special altogether since each and every one of them was wearing reduced to scale models of the original catwalk ones! This has happened before, in 2008, when the Barbican Centre in London organized a retrospective of Viktor & Rolf’s sartorial work. I wish they’d come up with yet another brilliant set of dolls for they’re truly extraordinary!
Also – if you could also work on some miniature cars so that my daughter finally shows some interest for a lil’ doll playing game? Please? (more images right after the jump, click here for the gallery!)
