2014 SAG Awards Red Carpet Black Dresses
January 19th, 2014 by kpriss
Choosing the right dress for a highlighted event such as the Screen Actors Guild Awards is no easy task. Many of the attending celebrities opt for the safe black dress either personally or through their stylists who propose little (or not so little) black dresses.
Tonight, at the 20th edition of the SAG Awards, there were quite a few black dresses we can talk about! Some I already mentioned before and I will just make a fugitive mention about: Jennifer Lawrence and Helen Mirren were the most astonishing among them!

2014 SAG Awards Red Carpet Dresses
January 18th, 2014 by kpriss
If you’re after Glam and Shine on the Red Carpet, the Screen Actors Guild Awards is your stop! The gowns were only matched by the beauty of the ladies wearing them!
The 20th edition of the SAG Awards were rich in blue dresses and in sequins. Which is always a good news for fashion enthusiasts like myself: I happen to like all those gorgeous shiny dresses and blue is one of my favorite colors!
Lupita Nyong’o blue Gucci dress
this was definitely the dress of the evening! Lupita not only she won an Actor for her dazzling performance in 12 Years a Slave but her natural grace and beauty should be awarded every day! The teal Gucci dress was otherwise simple if it weren’t for the decolete embellishements: but oh! what an amazing effect they had against Lupita’s glowy complexion!

2014 Critics Choice Awards Red Carpet Dresses
January 16th, 2014 by kpriss
Although more relaxed than other Red Carpets we’ve seen, the 2014 Critics Choice Awards has seen some gorgeous ladies and equally fabulous clothes tonight!
Something must be clouding my fashion judgement as, again, I’m picking pretty much the same best dressed at the Critics Choice Awards:
Sandra Bullock in Lanvin purple ruffled dress
I have the strongest conviction that Gravity works wonders for Sandy for not only she filled my fashion heart with sartorial joy at the Golden Globes a couple of days ago, but she’s really making my Critics Choice Awards evening with her fabulous Lanvin dress!

Red Carpet Nails 2014 Golden Globes
January 13th, 2014 by kpriss
If you keep reading reports saying that nail art is dead and you should all keep but one nail polish color in your stash and that is the transparent lacquer: don’t believe them! It’s marketing speculation!
Basically, saying that nail art is dead, is like saying that creativity and freedom of expression are dead as well. Are they? Here’s the Red Carpet Nails some of our beloved celebrities wore last night, at the 71th Golden Globes Awards Ceremony!
Monica Potter 2014 Golden Globes Nails: My absolute favorite nails of the night! Monica is starring in the TV show Parenthood but that’s completely besides the nails point! She was wearing a maxi dress by Romona Keveza with black skirt and gold sequined top and matching nails!
2014 Golden Globes Red Carpet Trend: Leg Slits
January 13th, 2014 by kpriss
Everybody made fun of Angelina Jolie’s leg slit on the Red Carpet, but now it seems like the right thing to wear: quite a couple of actresses opted for dramatic leg slit dresses at the 2014 Golden Globes Awards!
From Emma Watson to pregnant Elsa Pataky, the Red Carpet lights have seen a handful of gorgeous legs on display tonight. Amber Heard, Johnny Depp’s new darling, was the one who could steal Angelina’s meme crown, though!
She was wearing a deep blue Atelier Versace dress but as the slit ran very high up her leg, Amber was constantly careful not to reveal even more than Donatella Versace’s design already did. I was particularly fond of her hairdo as she looked styled by the master of pirates himself, the grand Jack Sparrow!

2014 Golden Globes Red Carpet Black Dresses
January 13th, 2014 by kpriss
The 2014 Golden Globes Awards wrapped up the official ceremony and made way for the afterparties while we sit back and take another look at the glamorous dresses on the famous ladies in attendance.
The classic black dresses were quite well represented tonight, two of my all-time favorite actresses (Cate Blanchett and Sandra Bullock) having opted for fabulous black dresses at the 71th edition of the Golden Globes Awards.
Sandra Bullock in Prabal Gurung Dress
Nominated for one of the most impressive movies of the year (Gravity), Sandra was, again, one of the most beautiful appearances on the Red Carpet. Her Prabal Gurung black dress (from the Pre-Fall 2014 collection) was a bit out of the ordinary as it included colorful panels both at the hem and on the bustier of the gown.

Converse Sneakers Collaborates With Black Sabbath Again
January 10th, 2014 by kpriss
What ties Ozzy Osbourne to basketball? A pair of Converse sneakers, of course! Mark your calendars for this is the year when Converse is selling an epic edition of All Stars sneakers: Black Sabbath Converse!
When I think of Black Sabbath, the image of Ozzy Osbourne, the high-heeled Prince of Darkness pops in my mind! I actually had troubles relating that to the flat soled sneakers… But did you know that this is the second collaboration between the Nike-owned footwear company and the legendary heavy metal band Black Sabbath?
Jessica Chastain As Brave Merida Disney Portrait Looks Unconvincing
January 9th, 2014 by kpriss
For two days, Disney got us all wondering how their new Dream Portrait looks like! With Jessica Chastain as the Brave Scottish redhead Princess, it was all really promising!
This very morning, Annie Leibovitz’s vision of Jessica Chastain as Merida from Disney/Pixar’s 2012 movie, Brave, was released on the Internet for the world wide audience to love and buzz about! And it really took me by surprise because although I like and admire Jessica, I wasn’t too pleased with her in her new Disney role!
