Because tartan is so in this season, you must pass the trend to your beloved pet! Cat Prin: The Tailor of a Cat is a Japanese web-store allowing you to dress up your favorite feline pet with the most adorable tartan accessories! Not to mention you’d be dressing them up for Halloween if you want to! They also sell frog transformation sets, prince and princesses coats and crowns.
Even if it sounds strange, some do love their pet all dressed up. I find it rather strange to make animals wear human-like clothes. I know they don’t really have something to say in the matter but still.. If you know someone who dressed up their pet, ask them if they were willing to spend few hours in a frog suit (nothing do to with the frog, but we’ve seen cat suits around, and they’re quite fashionable lately!)! Original Color Rings By Itay Ohaly

Young Israeli Designer Itay Ohaly carved out these wonderful rings from an old painting table, from a children furniture carpentry. Layers of acrylic paint were applied daily for four months in order to reach this thickness.
The result in rather charming, as the colorful layers of acrylic paint are sliced through to create surprising shapes. Sometimes you can even see the original painting table since there are sections that include it in a ring… I don’t know if it’s also resistant but it sure looks pretty to me. (not easy to wear, I imagine). So could you wear Itay Ohaly’s colored rings? (more pictures with the surprising rings right after the jump!) (via)

Boucheron’s Snake Necklace by Harumi Klossowska

Another Boucheron Anniversary, another snake necklace is born! This time it’s a twin blue snake made by Harumi Klossowska. There’s also an arm bracelet to match this necklace, both adorned with emeralds, sapphires, turquoise.
The Vesper snake jewelry was created for a powerful sensuous but dangerous woman. To be honest, all I can think of when I hear that is Vesper Lynd, the last Bond Girl, Eva Green. She was beautiful, powerful and dangerous, just like this project suggests. But she had a short career as a Bond Girl! The inspiration for this jewelry comes from ancient Rome, Asia and from the number 8 (infinite’s graphic representation). Do you feel attracted by the mysticism of this jewelry? I wanted to bring this commercial to your attention because I don’t think I got it all right. It’s for Loewe’s latest fragrance. It’s a beautiful short clip, rather charming in conception and manifestation. It was presented at the San Sebastian Film Festival, September 25th.
I’m unsure about the signification, however… So I’m posting this ad for you to see it and tell me what you think about it, especially when it comes to the ending of the advert. Easy Like A World In A Light Bulb!

This is a not a picture. This is a little world in a light bulb. The very thing we should preserve and treat like our most valuable gift – our (now) sensible ecosystem.
I look at this small world and want to believe there’s still hope for our children to grow up in a world where nature is preserved and respected. Where the eco conscience prevails.
