Alyssa Milano Designs Touch Collection For NFL
November 19th, 2008 by kpriss
It may not be haute couture, it may not be high street fashion either, but Alyssa Milano has her own clothing collection!
And that is since 2007. Alyssa Milano actually filled a gap in the fashion industry. It seems that NBA and NHL female fans didn’t have a suitable clothing line to wear in support for their favorite team. So the Touch collection appeared, with a crushing total of 245 products, apparel and jewelry raging from $16,99 – $89,99. I wonder how she started all this… If it was during a certain game that she got the epiphany, took the phone and called the NFL “Hey, I’m Alyssa Milano and I think you lack women clothes! I’ll do the job for you!” , or…? If she was just a regular art/fashion student, would she have got this splendid occasion to show off her designer talents? (via)
Short Visit At The Maison Martin Margiela Store, Beverly Hills
November 19th, 2008 by kpriss
While searching for unique and surprising deco bits and pieces, I came across pictures with a beautiful store. A fashion brand store. Maison Martin Margiela’s store from Beverly Hills, California.
The design of this special flagship store was signed by Johnston Marklee architects, a firm that’s been involved with (and awarded for) several fashion and art events (the Murakami event at the Museum of Contemporary Art, works at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art) as well as this Mameng and Maison Martin Margiela project from Bevery Hills. The store looks splendidly minimalist and neutrally two-toned. I would’ve expected something less finished and polished from the Maison Martin Margiela. Something rough and more abstract. Is this store representative for the Margiela spirit? (don’t miss the rest of the pictures, right after the jump!)
Fashionably Religious With Louis Vuitton Menorah
November 19th, 2008 by kpriss
If you’re preparing for Hanukkah, but in the mean time you can’t part ways with your Louis Vuitton-anything, here’s the great news for you:
Michael Levy designed Louis Vuitton menorah to follow traditions and keep the style 100% in time with the latest trends. It’s not bad, it’s not great either, if you ask me.. Blinging religion could bring a new wave of zealots, but would they stick around if LV would suddenly succumb to economics realities? Would you consider this kind of religious and fashion reinterpretation is blasphemous or simply contemporary?
Happy 20th Anniversary Armani Eyewear!
November 19th, 2008 by kpriss
For its 20th anniversary, Armani Eyewear has released a limited Anniversary Exclusive Edition of 1,000 sunglasses with “Anniversary Edition” graved case.
Each pair of exclusive Anniversary glasses will wear an inscription inside of the temple “LTD Edition 0001/1000”. All that and more couldn’t make me understand why should I pay $1,000 for a single pair of 20th Anniversary Sunglasses from Giorgio Armani. The rounded goldtone palladium frames with gray/green lenses look so outdated… Find them any interesting? (neimanmarcus.com via luxuo)

It’s a wonderful yet so upside-down time in a baby’s life that even Stylefrizz had to break the lines and keep company to our baby girl and her burgeoning first teeth! So please enjoy this great ad campaign for Love Diamond (with its prints – Laundry, Husband, Baby) because It is all worth it, indeed! Designer Accessories For Babies
November 18th, 2008 by kpriss
Through the articles, I’ve introduced you to luxurious baby carriers or even golden prams. Or designer strollers. I won’t present you the designer clothes for your little one, it would be too easy!
I’ll prepare you for a great dinner! The moment to feed your baby in complete style and crashing luxury! In order to do so, you might consider using Fendi bibs, Dior bibs or Dolce & Gabbana bibs. You can also use matching Fendi feeding bottles. Or matching Dior feeding bottles. Or matching Dolce & Gabbana feeding bottles. More I look at them and imagine the feeding bottles actually in use, with (let’s say) tea within, I’d have the impression my baby is drinking perfume! I mean, after all, there’s a Fendi or Dior or D&G logo on the feeding bottle, wouldn’t you take it for something else? Madonna’s Louis Vuitton Photoshoot
November 17th, 2008 by kpriss
You know the rumor saying that Madonna will shot an advertising campaign as the face of Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2009 ? It’s false! The truth is… She has already shot those campaign pictures! On November 14th!
She was photographed in Café Figaro from Los Angeles by Steven Meisel, styled by Marie Amelie Sauve (working as a fashion editor for Vogue Paris and as a consultant for Balenciaga) and Garren (for the hair). How the campaign will look like? I don’t really know, but I know how her Madgesty looked after shooting it! What do you think? Old glam? (photos via 1, 2)

Kate Moss And Maggie Cheung Do Vogue China In December 2008
November 17th, 2008 by kpriss
Look who’s getting a Christmas present! Kate Moss has two December covers! Both Vogue! Even if one of them is a double-cover issue, Kate still remains the fashion magazine’s darling.
Kate Moss and Maggie Cheung both grace Vogue China’s Cover for December 2008 shot by Mario Sorrenti, in black and white. What’s her pictorial about? Unconventional Rock Style! It really is original, right? And that picture of lying on the couch Kate, thaaaat I’ve seen her do at least once before this year. It must be so hard to pose the same way, always, same makeup, same hairstyle, same positions, same clothing percentage per square inch, same cancer stick allusive pictures! We could do Kate from time to time, right? (photos via tfs)
