Kate Moss And Maggie Cheung Do Vogue China In December 2008

Look who’s getting a Christmas present! Kate Moss has two December covers! Both Vogue! Even if one of them is a double-cover issue, Kate still remains the fashion magazine’s darling.

Kate Moss and Maggie Cheung both grace Vogue China’s Cover for December 2008 shot by Mario Sorrenti, in black and white. What’s her pictorial about? Unconventional Rock Style! It really is original, right? And that picture of lying on the couch Kate, thaaaat I’ve seen her do at least once before this year. It must be so hard to pose the same way, always, same makeup, same hairstyle, same positions, same clothing percentage per square inch, same cancer stick allusive pictures! We could do Kate from time to time, right? (photos via tfs)

The covers in B/W look awful.
I think the Dior HC corset on Kate steals the limelight from both women and is the Star!
Are times really that hard that they couldn’t afford coloured print? And what a lack of originality on behalf of Sorrenti.

Well I don’t know what to say except that there is nothing new under the sun. I don’t expect original looking or styled photo shoots anymore. Everything is derivative of each other. I guess the trick is to make it seem a bit fresh but how one accomplishes this I have not the vaguest idea.
