How To Do A Bat Headband. Halloween DIY
October 12th, 2010 by kpriss
More we’re getting closer to Halloween, I feel that weird inner emotion (more specifically it’s like a ball of fur in my upper stomach) I felt whenever there was something big coming up. Like exams, special events, holidays… (that and getting one step closer to my due date which makes me a world more emotional than d’habitude)
Anyways, what I wanted to say was that I loooove holidays. All that theme – madness around Christmas and everything else makes me relive everything through the eyes of a child, with all that fresh, innocent emotion! I’d even make myself this Bat Headband for the occasion! Because I love special holidays and I love headbands! So, my daaahlings, if you’re with me on this one, please do click through for a Do It Yourself Bat Headband quick guide!
Kim Kardashian Takes Her Clothes Off For W November 2010
October 12th, 2010 by kpriss
Notoriously known for her contribution to the world of… mmm. Yeah, wait a minute, please! Let me rephrase that: notoriously known for her contribution to the … Nope, not working.
Kim Kardashian, ladies and gents! Because we all know her, now we have attained that intimacy level where between us and Kim there’s just her skin. And a W November 2010 cover! Two, in case you don’t believe your eyes for the first cover, there comes the second, to reinforce the shallowness of today’s “Art Issue”. For yes, my daaaahlings! This is the exquisite work of Mark Selinger for W’s Art Issue! Doesn’t it all make sense, all of a sudden? (click the picture to see larger image) (via)

Freja Beha Erichsen Is Harry Winston’s Bride In New Ad Campaign
October 11th, 2010 by kpriss
Freja Beha Erichsen dressed as a bride! I thought I’ll never see the day! Thank you Harry Winston for this view, it’s really a fresh, happy bride vision I’m grateful to start the week with!
Notoriously gothic and androgynous, Freja’s appeal was used in a completely different direction and she’s looking amazing! I wish I’d have more images from this campaign! Doesn’t she look wonderful? Just my kind of bride, more on the natural side than on the sophisticated wedding side. All in all, every bride out there looks gorgeous! (tfs via)
Baptiste Giabiconi’s Showtime Single Cover
October 11th, 2010 by kpriss
Come, come, gather round! I just found this piece of really amazing-aaah news! Baptiste Giabiconi’s Showtime wasn’t just a joke! Oh, no! He’s really going on the market with that single and it’s going to look like this!
An artsy cover, undoubtedly shot by his um… (how should we call him, anyway?) favorite Uncle Karl. Yes, that stands for Karl Lagerfeld (who, in other fashrelated news is supposed to step down from his Chanel throne this year. Surely in order to dedicate himself entirely to Baptiste). The song has been mixed by 50 Cent and it’s awaiting for your heavy rotation approval! Not that he would need such a mundane gesture as a vote of confidence, Baptiste has Karl’s any day. Or night. Right? (click the image for larger view) (via)
Dare To Wear The Modern Vintage Jewelry By Irene Jung?
October 11th, 2010 by kpriss
Could you help me out with something? It’s been on my mind for almost a week now, so I can say it’s not a fully developed theory – just a hint. It occurred to me that there’s a time in every young / woman’s life when she’ll turn to vintage.
Make it about the self discovery, about the joys of personal inspiration and treasure hunting – the gold vintage hunters live among us. They spend their days searching high and low on the Vintage alley, proudly showing their captures after each session. Well, this one is for you! Irene Jung’s jewelry pieces bound together modern and vintage with a solid charm and natural elegance. (click through to see more pieces)
Guide To Complete Makeover, The Jared Ledo Edition
October 11th, 2010 by kpriss
I’ve always wanted to do some magic with my makeup palette. The best I got so far is a straight, fine eyeliner line along the eyelashes! Come on, don’t laugh, I’m trying my best here, do you have any idea how many times / year do we get to go out just me and my Adored Husband? That’s when the eyeliner comes in strong! Otherwise, I’m telling you, four years old are completely immune to eyeliner tricks unless it’s meant to draw a Batman mask on your face!
Now getting back to the makeover trick of the day (slash viral video of the day): have you seen who’s looking back at you from the video below? It’s Jared Leto, my daaahlings! Gifted young actor turned musician. Now a gifted young woman will show us how to turn ourselves into Jared Leto! All you need is (apparently) six minutes of your precious time! That and a galaxy of talent! Have you tried anything like this at home?

How To Tell A Real UGG From A Fake UGG?
October 11th, 2010 by kpriss
The UGG time of the year has arrived. And even if I do not approve of it, the Ugg boot will definitely be a part of this season’s most worn boots. Might as well know your real Ugg from your fake one, right?
You have to check out the height of the so-called Ugg boot: the original UGG Australia boots come in short and tall versions. Anything in-between is not an UGG Australia. The original UGG logo has the trademark symbol on the label and also there are no additional tags on the sides of the boots. The Skin of the original UGG Australia boots is a one piece sheepskin. Any other multi pieced, suede, fleece, cowhide isn’t an UGG. The real UGG Australia boots are made in China so when you find an Ugg with “Made in Australia” on, it’s not a real Deckers UGG. The original UGG runs a size larger. The Original Ugg Sole is a one piece, flexible, logo embossed sole. Anything different is not a real UGG. Now you’re ready to go Ugg Hunting! (and do find some time to read the WSJ piece on UGG boots. I would have never known the difference between UGG and uggs if it wasn’t for this article!) (via)
