Just when I thought $1,400 shoes were clearly an abomination to my budget, here I found a little something to ease my mind:

Stuart Weitzman $2 million sandals! They don’t look all that million to me, but the blue stones are 185 carats of tanzanite bonus 28 carats of diamonds mounted on the sandal’s straps. It’s not a one way $2 million spent! Imagine if the sandals are completely worn out, you can always cut the straps and wear the tanzanite and diamond cocktail as a necklace! What do you say? Ready to buy?

When I first saw Victoria Beckham smiling, my world came tumbling down and I couldn’t care less if she was wearing her usual sack of potatoes or a gorgeous frock! Posh smiled!

However, she couldn’t have stunned everyone with her forgetting the pout and smiling so people actually asked what she was wearing. Naturally a pear of her own designed denim brand dVb but other than that I was clueless. The ways of fashion blogosphere are not without answers so here I am reading a piece of Victoria Beckham wearing Ana Sekularac, a British designer who swept everyone’s attention at the London fashion week (last season) and discovering it was the actual outfit I had no idea what it was.

Not your average designer, but then again, not your average fashion consumer either. Posh is one-of-a-kind, so are the clothes she’s choosing (ok, maybe except for the red carpet appearances, a mess altogether, but as for her regular outings, is Posh guilty of fashion offence?)

It’s a Converse Madness out there. And the latest fling to prove it is the Pepsi – Converse project.

For the Converse 100th celebration, 12 models of Converse were reduced to sneaker mobile phone charms. I guess if you’d be a real Converse fashionista (and high school attendant), you’d be jumping for joy already when hearing that starting May, some of the tiny sneakers come along with Pepsi cans. I could never attach something like this (or another accessory) to my mobile phone. It’s just what it is – an instrument.

With all the internet waving up to the towering Gwyneth for almost two weeks of premieres in seven inches high heels, after a visit to a back specialist, Gwinnie dresses down. To her toes.

I wouldn’t mind it though! The look of her legs, toned up and gorgeous as they are was overexposed as I strolled the internet lately, so change is a bliss! Showing off her (lack of) upper assets and her (what looks to be a) flawless back is a interesting move. Not to mention the flare leg pants, so in right now. And the masculine touch of the Stella McCartney outfit, so stylish this season.

Let’s forget about the bling. Let’s count the buttons together, shall we? From top down – 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6th is missing in action, then the 7th popping up to end of the row. What happened to the 6th button, Gwyneth? Got punished and left home to watch over the high heels? Let’s see if the buttons sales will explode just like the 7 inches high heeled shoes did because of her red carpet appearances lately…

Luxury is often a privilege lacked of good taste. However, talking about a collector piece from 1853 one can hardly allow itself to splash it with such qualifications.

I indulge myself in calling this a bad taste piece of jewelry, with no other value than its time given one (of course, completely ignoring the gemstones worth). It’s a wedding diamond piece made from François Kramer for Napoleon III’s 1853 bride Empress Eugénie.

For such an exquisite piece of curtain-decoration-brooch, of course one would expect to pay a heavy price. The vendor’s estimations were in between $4 million and $6 million.

The buyer – Le Louvre itself who brought back home this precious piece from the French crown jewels – did not disclosed the acquisition price so we’re free to imagine whatever we want.

I wonder, just like that, if Le Louvre is allowed to pay $6 million for a single piece of antique crown jewelry, what is the French budget vision for the French First Lady? She’s got to be a precious one too…
