Irina Lazareanu Shows Support for Angelina Jolie

Now, now, you must be intrigued! I know I was, when first hearing about this! Now imagine this: Irina Lazareanu, Angelina Jolie, Global Action for Children!

Still haven’t got a clue? Well, then imagine this: Irina Lazareanu was spotted backstage at the New Work Fashion Week wearing a t-shirt tagged with “Global Action for Children” when in makeup.

Global Action for Children LogoSince everyone’s watching Irina’s every move, they all went crazy and asking around what was that t-shirt all about and where can they get one so they’ll get into the Lazareanu trend.

No one has asked me about the shirt yet, but I hope that will change by the end of the week,

the model said backstage at the Matthew Williamson show.

The Global Action for Children

Oooh, what a shame! What a beautiful trend to steal and yet no one really knows if it really is going to be a trend! But let’s all take notes, let’s dig for something about that t-shirt, let’s make it into a trend! It’s Irina Lazareanu after all, she can’t be wearing a t-shirt with no reason whatsoever!

Sarah Harding from Girls Aloud for Ultimo Lingerie

How long has it been since Girls Aloud first appeared? Oh, never mind, I wasn’t a history freak and this makes no exception. Let’s say a “few years back”.

Haven’t they made that much money? Or it’s getting to the point of personal interests now? Because it seems that Sarah Harding, the blonde Girl is Aloud to do Lingerie promotion. (I imagine it’s not for free, even if modeling for lingerie takes more than pouting and showing blonde locks and a Victoria-Beckham wannabe look)

Friday Break – Christopher Walken Wonderful Dance

I’ve had it with fashion disasters, with serious issues, for just few minutes let me show you why life is wonderful and why we love being surprised (even if it’s an oldie, I never get tired of it)!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you…. Christopher Walken!

Please enjoy this few minutes break and tell me if it’s now therapeutic!

Bag Obsession – Vivienne Westwood Red Polka Dot Bag

Can’t say much – except – lovely! Both of them, but especially the red polka dot! Truth being told, I wouldn’t really see myself with the red one but I would definitely give it a try (or more, since we’re talking about app $480 worth-a-try)!

As for the Vivienne Westwood Appliqué Orb Logo Bag (app $365), it’s a sure thing! On my summer dream list.(who knows, after all? Even if I’m packing a suitcase for every outing since we’re still talking diapers and stuff like that over at my place, I’d reserve a special place in my wardrobe for the Appliqué Orb Logo Bag).

What do you say? VW Polka dot or VW Orb Logo?

Eva Mendes for Calvin Klein Fragrances

Hispanic women have a particular charm and a certain power over the fashion industry. After Salma Hayek giant de la mode marriage, Eva Mendes received a proposal.

But not for marriage… She was contracted as the new face for Calvin Klein Fragrances.

CK logo
How’s that going to merge with her latest career in rehab for substance abuse problem, I guess it’s all about chemistry after all. All about substances.

Eva “embodies the sexy, provocative essence of the Calvin Klein brand and we are thrilled that she will be the newest iconic beauty to represent Calvin Klein Fragrances.”

Eva Mendes Picture
Such a breathtaking official statement meant to reassure everyone! Let’s hope it will be a breathtaking fragrance as well.

Do you look at Eva Mendes like she could be pulling out the new mission as face of Calvin Klein just fine?

Or do you see her “other” face as party-girl-needing-rehab and thus nothing else matters?

Dramatic Look with Shu Uemura’s Kakuyasu Uchiide False Eyelashes

What’s wrong with false eyelashes? Besides not really understanding the install guide? If you really want to impress, that’s the way to go!

Kakuyasu Uchiide, the head make-up artist from Shu Uemura managed to put together a false eyelash collection.

Kakuyasu Uchiide False Eyelashes
Thinking about beauty, Kakuyasu Uchiide said that it’s:

Simple but dramatic. Something everybody can feel.
Make-up is to bring out the individual beauty, not to create a different person. Discovering new facets of the face is exciting for me as a treasure hunt.

SATC Spawns Monsters – Sarah Jessica Parker Fashion Disaster

Maybe you’re looking up to her sense of style, but if you look at this picture instead, you’ll feel something really wrong is in the air.

Is there anything I’m missing, there? A fashion of some kind, completely unknown to me? Extraterrestrial, maybe? Sarah Jessica Parker pulls a number out of her Bitten inspiration at the “Betrayed” premiere.

Sarah Jessica Parker Betrayed Premiere

Do you still find her (in this picture) a style icon? Cause I really feel my eyes hurting from the sight! (fashion aside, the picture is amazing! That blue door behind, the metallic stairs, the two columns, the white “Grecian” style and the green with silver tape on, the posters on black and white, it’s all so artistic that even SJP wreck-dressed seem to fit!)

Heidi Klum Designer for Jordache Jeans

And yet the world of designers counts a new addition! We can’t get enough of models having their own line of something, anything! It’s spreading like a virus.

Hope it won’t turn out to be lethal for fashion’s sake.

Anyway – word is that Heidi Klum stepped down from being the face of Jordache Jeans brand so she thought it would be great to sign some papers that make her designer for Jordache Jeans.

Heidi Klum For Jordache Jeans
Heidi Klum by Jordache came up from thin air and developed through Heidi’s wardrobe, of course. Which she showed to the designers team “for inspiration”, of course. (haven’t we seen that already? Hm..)

“She was very sensitive to wanting the line to have a sexy edginess, but not be too revealing. She paid a lot of attention to details.”

Declared Liz Berlinger, president of Jordache Enterprises.

Heidi Klum By Jordache Jeans
The collection is called “Naughty and Nice” (at least the name of the collection is allegedly Klum’s idea) and has 20 pieces: jeans ($140-$170), tops, dresses ($80-$350) and will be distributed exclusively at Bloomingdale’s.

What a beautiful world this will be! Beautiful clothing made by beautiful people! Long live marketing!

Oh, pardon me, if you have another opinion on all this, please share! I’m always happy to be proven wrong!

What do you say? Heidi has designer hidden talents? Or it’s just money for retirement?
