Kate Moss Covers Vogue España May 2008. Four Times.

It’s the 20th anniversary of Vogue España. And what better present for the finances.. ahem.. readers of the magazine if not Kate Moss on the Cover?

Oh, I know! Kate Moss on FOUR Covers! Of the same May Issue! Pure delight for the eye and the Photoshop mind behind all this (if you look closely, Kate’s mouth is rather strange). Photographed by Nick Night, La Moss graces only the cover of the Spanish Vogue, the magazine featuring just an article about her written by Alaska (a Spanish icon). At least the Chanel Jumpsuit cover looks better than Kate Moss in real life for her birthday.
So this has got to be the 10th cover for Kate Moss this year (Vogue Paris April and February, Vogue UK, Vogue Mexico, Vogue Nippon, W). Scandal suits her well. Or maybe it’s more like scandal suiting Vogue better than anything? Ok, I’ll keep things neat, afraid of going tabloid-ical – Vogue became controversy’s fashionable mask..

Mel B Scary Ultimo Lingerie Ads

What does it take to have a natural pose for lingerie advertising campaign? Maybe a trained model can do it. Or someone who’s really used with being in the spotlight.

Well Mel B former Scary Spice is here to prove us all wrong! You can be a celebrity first liner for years, you can even dance like a star, you still don’t get what it takes to bear it all (well, almost) in a lingerie shoot.

Why Does Carolina Herrera Love Pockets?

In a recent interview, Carolina Herrera was asked about her obsession for clothes with pockets. The answer was hardly designer-hermetical:

“You know why I love pockets? Because I never know what to do with my hands. And you don’t have to go around with a handbag. Just put your lipstick in your pocket.”
Don’t know what to do with your hands? Buy a Herrera and you’ll find the answer!

Katie Holmes Golden Appearance For Victoria Beckham’s 34th Black And White Birthday

We’re heading for a black and white fall, the designers say. Of course Victoria Beckham, way ahead of our times, way ahead of the season, she’s going for the black and white splash for her 34th Birthday Dinner with (some called) friends.

Since Tom Cruise talks bad about her, saying she’s bad influence on Katie, she wisely resolute to advise Gwen Stefani to follow up on that trend. Now what’s there left for Katie to splash around? A dress made from old couch-like fabric in sparkling gold, a Tom Cruise haircut and horrifying shoes to match (them both).

Elizabeth Hurley For Mango

What’s it like to have a completely respectable age and a completely respectable body? Well, it’s like this: you model for a fast fashion store after having “designed” your own line of clothing! And if that’s not enough, then you should also know that you have the possibility to improve your looks with digital enhancement, regardless of the clothing quality.

At least she’s honest about that one thing, even if we don’t get too many details about how her inspiration flew out of nowhere and she suddenly felt full of a new self – Liz Hurley, the clothing designer. So urging that she absolutely had to draw few bikini sketches for Mango.

Hello Kitty Vogue Nippon

You can’t be a complete unknown and feature in the pages of a fashion magazine. It’s an elementary Wintour trick going overseas.

Vogue Nippon has the chance to prove Anna’s marketing strategies on their own stands – in June they’ll feature a special photo shoot – Hello Kitty graces the pages of Vogue. The most famous anime cat is getting a most fashionable debut with Dior.

Helo Kitty For Vogue

Japanese animation and characters have been a strong influence on the fashion world in the last few seasons, but Kitty is special (…). Fashion people all know her name and face and always say they love her. That’s why we at Vogue wanted to do something involving her. Declared an official from Vogue Nippon

Is that so? Or is it that superhero frenzy getting everywhere already?

Chanel Makeup Fall 2008 Collection

You already know, I’m sure, with summer looking over the shoulder, everyone’s getting into tan business.

When I came across these pictures, I was truly convinced it was a summer special from Chanel. I was so wrong! It’s the Chanel Makeup Collection for fall! If you believed we were safe from metallic, now here’s Chanel saying not!

Chanel Fall Makeup Collection

Fall Makeup is all about gold. Said to be inspired by Coco Chanel’s apartment with all the brown, bronzes and gold shades, the collection is due in July and contains a $30 Gold Fiction (nail polish), $56 Facettes D’Or (loose powder), $26 Gold Light Glossimer (lip gloss) $27 Rouge Hydrabase (in copper, plum, coral) $56 Shadow Eye Palette (gold, coffee, ivory, dark green).

I think it’s not that important that an average polish from Chanel is around $20 and this special fall one is $10 more…Is it now? You see, they’ll try to convince you it’s a fashion special, but I think it’s a recession special…

Natalia Vodianova Chanel Makeup Fall Collection

So ladies, hurry up on that black and blue bottles, the new black is gold! And the new blue is Kaléidoscope (shiny green gold). Sounds like a lizardous fall chez Chanel.

Ready to follow (all things to be said – I find Natalia’s pose for this campaign rather strange. Like she would be bored to impossible)?

Behind the Surface Underwater Photography Project

Beauty comes from the inside. But what if, this time, it would come from deep under…water?

This photography project is signed by Nadia Moro and involves five graduates from the Fashion Design and Styling programs in twenty five pictures shots in five days. The amount of work is impressive and the dedication behind the project materialized this poetic imagination speaking by itself in the few pictures I chose for you to enjoy too.
