Gwen Stefani – I’m Pregnant, so I Wear a Tent Dress

This is another celebrity wearing a tent dress when pregnant. There’s gotta be related to all that weight pressure given their overexposed persons.

Or was it that floor-length tent dresses were highly in this summer and I haven’t noticed? My inner-dress girl tells me it’s all perfect when wearing this kind of outfit especially when pregnant, and that it should be written in every pregnant dress-code so it will lift up the wardrobe stress for the nine months to come.

Gwen Stefani Pregnant Wearing a Tent Dress

Every time I go check the pregnant section, I find some weird-looking clothes, half of them meant to make a woman feel like a sack of potatoes, half of them inappropriate for every day use. A pregnant woman’s closet shouldn’t be any different than a non-pregnant one. Everything just as before, only in one-two sizes bigger.

In the same time, this reminds me of a nasty remark overheard in a discussion between two young women – “nooo, I won’t wear that baby-doll-ish dress/top – it makes me look pregnant!”.

Is there something wrong with being pregnant? Or it’s something wrong with looking pregnant but not actually being? What was your expecting-wardrobe?

Taking the risk to be slaughterd on this website, A pregnant woman can look wonderful, not only in designers clothes but more to be herself and be proud on the fact that she’s pregnant. Whatever clothes she wears. But I have to admit this is written by a man, so I don’t actually know what I’m talking about, hahaha.

Oh please, where would we be if men wouldn’t find words to qualify any/everything! No violence on this website, all zen – especially when talking about pregnant women! I think it’s a blessed condition in one’s life and should be treated and looked at it as such. Sadly enough, many expecting mothers don’t feel at ease with their new shape so they deliberately choose to hide their beautiful condition in clothes (that actually add to the general uncomfortable percentage).

It’s simple Kpriss, a man should keep his mouth shout about fashion things especially if he don’t know nothing about it, or about pregnant woman. Ciao, arriverderci and I’m not into Zen for your knowledge

Oh, Valerio, one shouldn’t be sorrowed when on stylefrizz. It’s meant to entertain.

However, I’m not dogmatically into Zen either. I was just talking about zen attitude . It’s always a pleasure finding out what men think about all fashion things (and not only).

Valerio, why should a man, a father, has to shut his mouth about pregnancy or about pregnant women in general? He has every right to talk about that. He is involved too. Right?

But about that tent, I like Gwen’s tents better than Angelina’s. I’ve seen another one Gwen wore which was really nice and I would wear without being pregnant. It was more like a nice summery dress.

But it is not that bad, Gwen still wears her jeans. I saw a photo of her playing joyful with son Kingston. Photos of Gwen as a mom always make me smile because she looks so happy being one.
Look at Gwen in jeans.

Since you brought the tent-dress up Kpriss I’m so interessed in pregnancy dresses. And there are some around now…..I saw Nicole Kidman in black with lace.
Here she is the lady in black.
