Welcome Susan Juliette Beatie!
July 27th, 2008 by kpriss
Remember Thomas Beatie? You may be more familiar with his media-friendly name “The pregnant Man”. Of course we cleared all that blur and established that he was, in fact, a transgender, but the world will still hook up to the pregnant man memory long from now.
However, he/she gave birth to a baby girl named Susan Juliette (natural birth!) and no matter the media frenzy, I just wanted to say hello Susan Juliette, welcome and Happy Birthday already!
For she is one month old (born June 29)! I hope you’ll have a happy, blessed life with your loving parents! Is it important that the parents are a transgender and his/hers wife? Or that this child was conceived and born in/with love? (I know it’s a simple perspective for a complex story, but isn’t this what should really matter?)

My Blue Butterfly Tree
July 27th, 2008 by kpriss
This Sunday, a very special meeting took place. The Forrest was most honored to witness such an impressive moment.
And honestly, so am I! This is, of course, the blue episode after that first ladybird incredible gathering. I don’t remember ever seeing such butterflies (the only blue butterflies I caught when I was a child were small and had some dots on) and I hope not to catch the Mariah-la-butterfly-mania, but I do declare this scene to be one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! Those colors are fairytale-ish, aren’t they?

I’ve Been Tagged! Premio Blogging Awards Nominees Are…
July 26th, 2008 by kpriss
I’m sure you know, there are things out there that’ll catch you no matter what you do to avoid them. And tagging is one hot trend in blogging.
We follow trends here at Stylefrizz.com. We follow the trends we think are worthy. Especially when someone’s tagging Stylefrizz with a Blogging Award – Premio Blogging Award (and that tagging someone is Fantastic Toe). So I’m doing what’s required to do:
I’m tagging the blogs I find worthy (even if I find is so hard to choose! I love so many blogs and I think so many people do a wonderful job when they’re sharing their all fashion and non-fashion passions that I find righteous to nominee every single one of those who are contributing to the blogosphere! Congrats to you, thank you for being out there and getting all that blogosphere together!). So here it goes (randomly):

Chloe Orange Aligator Fold Clutch
July 24th, 2008 by kpriss
As you already know, I’m a messenger-bag girl. Not just because I think the messenger bags are beautiful and practical but also because I absolutely have to carry a dozen baby stuff around, just in case one of the kids needs something (from diapers to t-shirts).
However, I am a wife besides being a mother and thus, my husband and I go out from times to times. Just the two of us. When that miracle happens, I get the chance to change my suitcase of a handbag with something smaller, more feminine and elegant. The trouble with that is that if I don’t choose a cross-body bag (which kinda gets me back to the messenger issue, but only smaller), I don’t know where to put my handbag for the night and get some proper dancing. Well, this Chloe thing may be the answer. Orange enough to draw attention and to cheer up even an all black outfit (the least to do for spending $1,050 on) it’s really easy to hold. What do you say? (I for one wouldn’t really pay that price for such a little bag, but considering it’s Chloe and it’s aligator and most of all it’s original, it absolutely received a positive virtual vote from me)

Billabong Reversible Collection By Lisa Klein
July 24th, 2008 by kpriss
Today I’m in a vacation mood. Sun, beaches, waves… All things summer. All things relaxing one’s spirit and mind.
But how can I relax my fashion self? I keep on going and searching and sniffing the internet for news and curiosities style related. The last one came stumbling my beach day was this reversible bikini by Billabong. Is it worth it? Having a double sided bikini? (and I’m not talking price tag. I’m talking practical issues)

The Best Ad Ever!
July 23rd, 2008 by kpriss
It’s too good to miss out! Too many people are lost, too many people don’t know who they are and what they want just because they follow some ordinary path through life without asking or wanting more, without acknowledging their true individual.
I’m getting philosophical, I know, but it’s a heavy issue that could resolve more than half of humanity’s problems. Forget karma, forget mysticism, just ask yourself who are you, really and what do you want?
Xdress Men Lingerie. Why not?
July 23rd, 2008 by kpriss
And because a girl’s gotta have some fun, I thought I’d share something special but nonetheless very interesting I came across today.
Xdress lingerie for men. What makes a man not wear silk underwear? What makes a woman feel attracted to a man wearing white cotton lingerie? Is it that gay-myth making men run like chased from some ugly nightmare when talking lace or silk lingerie for men? I may be asking too many questions but that’s because I really want to hear your side of the story! Don’t be shy, I wasn’t when I posted this! (xdress via trendygirl)
How About Some Parasite… Shades?
July 23rd, 2008 by kpriss
How about some high tech sunnies? Shades that won’t betray you even if you turn your head from left to right, up and down et caetera?
Parasite sunglasses got me all curious about their functionality. They look rather sportish, I give them that and I would’ve seen a Bluetooth function on that spare arm, but who knows, maybe in time…However, reading through their website I got to appreciate the overall thinking that got them into shades-philosophy even if it’s a French brand (you know me, I have a little something against the unnecessary and French chic they shove on everyone and everyone’s dog throats just because legends must live on no matter the reality basis. Il n’y a plus de vrai Français, il n’y a plus de vrai chic). Do you see these evolving into a permanent sunglasses trend?
