Coco Chanel is one endless inspiration spree. The latest getting the Coco flow is Shirley MacLaine who played the Fashion Mademoiselle in a TV movie.
She created a jewelry line called Chakra Sky Jewelry. I may be somehow ignorant but I think calling a piece of jewelry “Spirit Steering”, “Safe Landing” or “Swirl to God” is way too much. It’s like a secret sorority stuff, all those metaphysical stories and silver sterling mysticism (not to mention the rings look pretty strange! With those nails-looking-like-gems). How does this jewelry collection looks like to you? (and those names, ring any heaven bells?)

Admiring Mz Maclaine and being aware of her mystical beliefs and biological practice this jewelry line however doesn’t really speak to me.Chakra and the loony names of the pieces seem sectarian to me too.

No thanks! As much as I like Shirley Maclaine I pass on chakra, karma and spirit steerings or whatever.
