Boyfriend Jeans Match Chanel Shades At Playground With Suri
August 8th, 2008 by kpriss
You know that BF Jeans we talked about early on? Well it seems Katie (and her new shortcut) is keen on fueling second pregnancy rumors with this slouchy look.
However, this post is not about the BF jeans, it’s not even about her gorgeous Chanel shades. It’s about a picture and the cuteness overload within. You take a look and tell me if it’s not just beautiful. Regardless of who the mother is and how unhappy she looks like, this mother-daughter picture is beyond regular gossip. Do you feel it too? I Like To Move It Move It – King Julian From Madagascar
August 8th, 2008 by kpriss
I just love animations with a message. It works for the children but especially for the grownups.
Yesterday I finally saw Kung Fu Panda and even if at first it didn’t really appreciate the movie, I came to love it by the end. The same phenomenon happened with Madagascar. It was rather strange at the beginning, but impressive throughout. From this very movie (Madagascar) comes the singing/dancing scene by King Julian “I like to move it, move it”. The original song was performed by Reel 2 Real in 1994 but the Madagascar song is a remake, signed Sasha Baron Cohen.
In case you saw the movie, I’m sure you’d love to see this scene again. If you didn’t, don’t miss it (this scene is not a spoiler)! Enjoy!
I-D Jourdan Dunn In September 2008
August 7th, 2008 by kpriss
The To die For Issue features Jourdan Dunn on the cover. All that Vogue Italia wind surely stirred some waves on the fashion white sea. Either that or fashion is really on a serious black trend. Way to go!
She looks so pretty here that I could even forgive her bat-like pose from Pop early on. However, it’s getting dull to see the same Prada outfits for fashion spreads. Isn’t there anything else besides Miuccia’s catwalk work to show off? How do you feel about Jourdan’s cover? (click picture to see larger image)
Magazines – The New Designers?
August 7th, 2008 by kpriss
Here’s another collaboration to spice up the clothing retail world. Wallpaper and Fila worked together for a polo t-shirt special edition.
It’s about two polo shirts. The first is a tribute to the Björn Borg Settanta polo shirt with the scores of each of Borg’s championship matches on the front and his runner ups results on the back. The second is inspired by Luke Wilson’s character from The Royal Tenenbaums (blue and white striped with a graphic pair of sunglasses on the chest pocket). The shirts were issued in 500 pieces for men and 250 for women at selected global outlets. Would the magazine-designers become a trend?

Who Needs I Am Rich iPhone?
August 7th, 2008 by kpriss
What to do now that the new iPhone is so inexpensive and so affordable? Get it all stoned up in a bling atrocity or….
Or get the new, the most amazing application created especially for iPhone wealthy users. It’s called “I Am Rich” and does… nothing at all! Just like all-things-rich-related. It just shows a glowing stone and once opened, the application loads a “secret mantra” meant to help you “stay rich, healthy and successful” (the words of the application’s author, Armin Heinrich). The most useless application of them all costs $999,99 and it’s there just to flavor your normal 3G iPhone into a normal 3G iPhone 5 times its price. What to think about those who’ll acquire the very special feature?

Pop September 2008 Six Covers Issue
August 7th, 2008 by kpriss
This September Pop goes all Prada Nuns. Pictured by Sebastian Faena, the six covers take further notice of the new trend in fashion : color=beauty.
The obvious diversity of the six cover edition is somehow calmed down by the similar outfits and main theme of the shoot. Agyness pulls a very feminine pose and expression, blissfully different from her usual garçonne look. I’m a little unsure about Amber’s look. Her painful expression seems hypnotic and yet so sterile. Jourdan the Bat-Bride looks like a pinned butterfly. Naomi is getting ready for a brain surgery and Natalia already had hers, look at the bandages hanging over her head. Brrr! Oluchi? Like a transvestite salesman caught in the goldfever. In a word I feel a little distracted by the artsy feel of this Pop issue. How about a little help? What do you make of all this? Burton Environmentalist Fall 2008 With Futura
August 7th, 2008 by kpriss
I’d like to believe this has something to do with the environment and all things related. The Fall Winter 2008 Collection from snowboard brand Burton features a highly interesting print created by Futura.
This camouflage (like in proper camouflage, forget that subcultural monogramouflage) print looks so real, you could almost blend in the nature. That, of course, if you were snowboarding in the woods… If not, expect to be the center of the winter season with this attire. Would you wear this for a serious snow sport session?

Stella McCartney Adidas Fall 2008 Collection
August 7th, 2008 by kpriss
When it comes to sports and exercise, I sometimes lack motivation. And time. But every now and then, I still get to play some tennis with my husband. And we’re waiting for the biking-family-moment…
The Stella McCartney gear for Adidas makes me wonder why I get the impression that everybody seems to stubbornly create workout clothes that only look good on skinny frames. (more photos after the jump)
