Kate Moss Covers Purple Fashion Magazine
August 25th, 2008 by kpriss
A month without Kate Moss on the cover of a magazine, is no fashion month. Thus, here’s Kate doing Purple Fashion magazine.
Isn’t she lovely? More I look at this cover, more I begin to feel the Tom Ford influence on the pose. Years go by, women pretend equality with men and what better way to prove and sustain that than by standing up, high heeled, with a killer lbd on and a man lying at your feet. Is the supermodels era supposed to bring back the 90s fierce woman too? I was kinda hoping women get in touch with their feminine side and learn to stand up without that dominatrix air. Does this picture work for you?

Vogue Paris Hearts Crocs
August 25th, 2008 by kpriss
While Tara Reid is prepared to take over fashion with a Mantra and the Kaiser has nightemare-ish representation of himself in a teddy bear, Paris Vogue has found a perfect way to set the fashion world on fire: the Raquel Zimmerman spread dug up by bloggers and said to be part of the September issue!
I wonder what’s worse – the Zoolander Derelicte sewer photo shoot or the Crocs within. If this was set up to play the blogosphere, it’s a bad joke, if this indeed is proven to be true and will be in the September Vogue Paris, style is up for a major makeup. Yes, I know they’re comfy, but you’ll have to admit they’re ugly! And getting a Vogue spread it’s way too much for a trend that was naturally facing its last twilight. Would you name this Vogue fashion?

Tara Reid’s Mantra Collection
August 25th, 2008 by kpriss
So who else is on the celeb turned designer radar today? None the other than Tara Reid. Former actress now professional partygirl, 24/7 drunk, and liposuction fan. Now designer.
So, who wants to dress up like Tara and wear clothes with messages like “Catch me if you can” (oh, such a pity, I really loved that movie! Why all good things must turn to sticky dirty fingers sooner or later?) “Single and Ready to Mingle” . Of course she couldn’t have let herself exhausted by her newly discovered designer self and she went mostly for swimsuits. Ready to Mantra?
UPDATE: The first images have appeared: Tara Reid’s Mantra collection was in a Trade Show scooping for retailers interested in distributing her brand.(click thumbnails to see larger images)

The Lagerfeld Steiff Teddy Bear Unleashed!
August 25th, 2008 by kpriss
When I first heard about this Steiff Lagerfeld project, I hoped it won’t be spawned. It was! I’ve never seen something as fierce (it even tops Siriano) and as un-toy-ish as this teddy bear! The Karl Lagerfeld Steiff hits the market in September.
Rejoice, though! Only 2,500 pieces will see the lights from Neiman Marcus and you can take one at home for $1,500. That, of course, if you’re into this kind of sadistic freaky toy dressed up with skinny lacquered jeans, wearing shades and a tie. Next you know, he’ll be starting to talk like the Kaiser does and work its little sketches and patterns like in a bad horror movie. Am I the only one creeping out from this plush figure?
Not Too Late To Take A Break!
August 24th, 2008 by kpriss
I was searching for some significant moment to call it “easy like Sunday morning” and I went from pictures taken from the top of the tallest building in the world and planes flying in front of the moon to birds and squirrels fighting over food.
But everything just paled when I came across this image. It just doesn’t need words, doesn’t need comments. The picture speaks for itself. What you need, on the other hand, is a reminder to enjoy every second of your life and this could be it! Enjoy!

Cartier Perruque Bague Vs. Andrea Corson’s Jewelry
August 23rd, 2008 by kpriss
Two days ago I came across these rings (pictured on the right side of the image) and I found them extremely familiar. I knew I saw something similar before, but I just couldn’t put my finger on it.
Now I know – Cartier La Bague Perruque. I loved that ring! In fact I liked it so much that a friend bought me the H&M replica just to make me get over the obsession I’ve developed (it worked!). So, Andrea Corson creates “unique” pieces of jewelry, so unique I had to dig up the Cartier bague just to convince myself I wasn’t hallucinating back to my old “Perruque” obsession. You be the judge. I chose three rings from Andrea Corson’s collection to confront with the one and only Perruque Cartier (the biggest ring from the image).

Hello Kitty Swarovski Doghouse
August 23rd, 2008 by kpriss
After seeing the Hello Kitty contact lenses, I thought nothing else could come up more Hello Kitty –grotesque. And still…
Here’s the most expensive doghouse in the world. Made by Hello Kitty’s Sanrio and decorated with Swarovski. The 7,600 blings from this mini dog bed raised the price up to $31,660. I don’t know about you, but this doghouse looks more like a birdcage to me. Swarovski enhanced, yes, but still a cage.
I know the dog is supposed to be the man’s best friend, but even so, why speculate the man’s desire to bling and mutate it to dogs? Why not use that money to do something more useful for the world’s other animals, endangered species or simply do something for the world’s wellbeing? So wildlife can be preserved. Instead of that, some build cages, bling them and after they call them doghouses. Can it get uglier?

Form Fieber Rasp Ring – Could It Work?
August 23rd, 2008 by kpriss
I think I have a soft spot for rings today. Here’s the first one – the Rasp Ring by Formfieber. It may look ordinary, but it has a magical function – it’s a hidden stylish rasp on your finger.
Every ripped nail trouble will be a memory. It’s just that simple with a stainless steel $86 ring. The sapphire rasp coating ensures your ripped nails nightmare fast dissolution. I don’t know how to react.. It’s been few years since I gave up the sapphire rasp (because wooden ones are recommended) and even if this rasp ring is an emergency plan, I receive it with raised eyebrows. Is it a good plan for you?
