No More Chanel Mobile Art Pavilion!
December 22nd, 2008 by kpriss
Chanel’s grandiose installation saw the land of recession! And got tainted by it! From Hong Kong to Tokyo and then New York, the stylish artsy pavilion by Chanel and Zaha Hadid cuts short its flight without seeing London, Paris or Moscow.
The mad structure didn’t listen to reason or common sense but it was forced to listen to the voice of economy. Of course it will be given a diplomatic turn, but I’m sincerely relieved to see it come to an end. I’m not a 2.55 fanatic. I’m not a Coco day dreamer so my pragmatic self took control and I’m thinking maybe now, worthy attention will turn in more important directions! Were you dreaming about the Chanel Mobile Art Pavilion to land in your hometown? (for the ones who only saw the prefab artsy structure in pictures and videos) Do you think it was a great initiative? Fancy This Samsung E250 Cacharel Mobile?
December 22nd, 2008 by kpriss
If you’re a Cacharel fan, you have to know that there’s a mobile brand working with the prestigious perfume name for your inner Amor Amor darling.
Samsung recently launched in France a Cacharel Beauty Coffret. How can that be? Simply because the two brands worked together for the E250 special edition. It’s not the first time Samsung plunges into the feminine side of the mobile market. This E250 comes with a Cacharel beauty set (Amor Amor Body Sensual Milk and Amor Amor Eau de Toilette). The actual mobile has a Cacharel red floral design on the back and you can also choose Cacharel themes to personalize your feminine-mobile. Will this work? I can see it as an alternative for the snobbish Prada/Dior mobile phones, but do you think women buying mobile phones will be more attracted to this kind of mixed-products? (via)

Here’s The World’s Most Expensive Christmas Bauble!
December 22nd, 2008 by kpriss
I’m one of those traditional-bounded who loves a classic red Christmas Tree. Not that I would mind some color, but I just don’t see it blue. Or silver!
I love my Christmas tree natural, green with red ornaments, gold accents and still multicolored lights in. Others seem to appreciate the same colors I do since the world’s most expensive bauble is red with gold (proper gold!) lace. Costing only $31, 400, this exclusive Christmas ornament is made by Krebs Glas Lauscha GmbH. The red bauble is decorated with a 12k gold and 120 VS1, 5,1 carats diamonds lace. How do you like your Christmas Tree? (via dailytimes.com.pk)
Jennifer Connelly’s Black Givenchy In Japan
December 22nd, 2008 by kpriss
Balenciaga girl all the way, Jennifer Connelly goes for Givenchy (Spring Summer 2009) in Japan for the premiere of her last movie – The Day The Earth Stood Still.
But don’t imagine it was a safe choice too! The strange cuts and armor-like top of her black Givenchy dress left me wondering if she wasn’t better in Balenciaga, after all.. At least I was used to that. But this… is just too much for me! I haven’t searched for that movie, see if it’s not a sequel to Battlestar Galactica par hasard… At least I would have made a connection. Do tell me, you find Jennifer looking good in this dress? How about the Givenchy dress? (couldn’t she at least take off those white tags from the sandals?) (photos via justjared)
Titanic – Easy!
December 22nd, 2008 by kpriss
I haven’t forgotten about the easy moment (that’s slowly becoming a Monday more than a Sunday…)! This week is my adored husband who decided to make me a surprise and pack us all for a weekend runaway WITHOUT my laptop!
After two days of running around with and after the toddlers here we are, fresh as always, ready to start a wonderful week with you! One of the greatest of the year, with Santa knockin’! Today’s Easy Moment is one of those great coincidences making the world’s delight! I hope it’ll bright up your Monday and it’ll help you get everything ready in time for Santa! Enjoy! Gimme Shelter!
December 19th, 2008 by kpriss
Every now and then we’re bound to turn to the world and see its suffering. Because every now and then, a powerful voice reaches out to us and we take that detour from our daily ways.
Our friend, Adriana, was my powerful voice. My wake up call this time. She sent me an email asking me if I could give this action some time. And so I do, sharing it with you. This is my Friday break today. My break from my daily routine and my blissfulness, the moment I turned my eyes on the world. On that part of the world that Ben Affleck and Sit Mick Jagger are trying to highlight in their UNHCR’s Gimme Shelter campaign short film. It’s about refugees. It’s about help.
Kate Moss And Her YSL Muse Bag
December 18th, 2008 by kpriss
When you’re the lucky owner of an original Yves Saint Laurent, chances are you wear it to exhaustion. Especially if that YSL piece is a handbag!
Now maybe things could be different if you had that YSL bag and you were Kate Moss! Maybe (just maybe!) you could buy yourself that YSL bag over and over again, at least one every month. In every shade and texture possible! But that’s not what Kate Moss would actually do! No-no! She’d take her YSL Muse tote and carry it allover, at that point that the bag ends up looking all trashed up! I really liked that Muse Bag and dreamed about for quite some time but I moved on and changed for a messenger bag, more suited for my active life. But not Kate! Kate is a faithful girl! Faithfull to skinny jeans, faithful to fur coats, faithful to her bags, faithful to her boots, faithful to her Topshop collection. She was renewed for another three years. Maybe, along the way, we’ll even get the chance to buy our very own trashed up YSL-Muse lookalike from Topshop Kate Moss. Or one of those worn-out boots she’s so fond of! Would you buy one if given the collection-chance? (via wwd, popsugar)
