This Is The Knight In Shining Armor You Were Waiting For!

The one you’ve been dreaming of! It’s finally here! (and we don’t have a source for it, but that’s fine too, I’m hoping for a source to drop in and claim credit for this fairy tale piece of jewelry!)

For it’s a piece of jewelry indeed! A cuff linked to a knuckle ring fashioned in the shape of a roman chariot rider with his three horses! It’s my gorgeous item of the week and I’m positive more treasures like this lie in its creator/s treasures chest! How do you feel about the Knight in Shining Armor?

UPDATE: Apparently, the source tracks down to a jewelry brand in Pennsylvania’s Camp Hill: Meeka Fine Jewelry. The designer, Monika Krol is rumored to have put together this fairy-tale-esque piece of jewelry as part of a school project while attending the University of Arts in PA.The rumor is yet to be confirmed as I will contact Monika Krol and try to get a certified yes or now for the whimsical piece below!(scroll down to read what the designer herself said about this jewelry, exclusively for Stylefrizz!)

Underwater Photography By Nadia Moro

Continuing my fascination with underwater photography, there’s a new Behind The Surface series by Italian photographer Nadia Moro. Mostly known for her work with Neo2, this underwater project isn’t currently linked to any fashion/magazine issue.

Artistically challenging, the underwater medium brings out something spectacular both from the photographer and the models. The fabrics, essential in the underwater photography overall percentage have an equally (if not more) visual importance in the final result’s aesthetics. Being more a texture and movement study, underwater photography will always arouse my curiosity. And I hope yours too. (more images right after the jump, click here for the gallery!) (via 1, 2)

Kate Moss Topshop Essential Collection

Waiting for Kate Moss to drop her Spring Summer 2010 collection for Topshop, I was thinking we could use some essentials. Topshop essentials, in the Kate Moss collection still.

Aiming at every closet out there, Kate Moss Essential Topshop collection would almost nail that “essential” target if it wasn’t for the price. Paying $40 for a simple grey tee is a bit too much to call it “essential”. And those tank tops they’re slightly out of fashion lately. What are you doing, Kate? Losing your Topshop touch? i-D Gisele, Miranda And Jeneil This Summer 2010!

Usually we always get who’s on the cover of a magazine, this time, however, i-D decided to get us in the i-d-ing game. Three covers for the Summer 2010 issue, one more heartmelting than the other.

Gisele Bunchen by Matt Jones, Jeneil Williams by Daniel Jackson and.. get this: Miranda Kerr by Willi Wanderperre! They want Miranda to be the next Gisele. In order to have that, they should, maybe, just maybe, make Mirada recognizable? Perhaps the inside will give us more Miranda than the cover does. Gisele is, well, Gisele (and she only has the cover-photo, there’s no pictorial with her inside – that’s what stars do). And Jeneil is just wonderful! Her pictorial reminds me so much of Michael Jackson’s and Naomi’s “In the closet”! (click through to see images from Jeneil Williams’ pictorial) Now tell me, honestly, would you have ever i-d-ed Miranda on that cover? (photos via)

Teri Hatcher Has A Blog

If you think being an actor in a successful TV Series might be enough for some, take Teri Hatcher as an example to prove you wrong. She just teamed up with Disney Family dot com to create and launch a website dedicated to, what else, women!

Following in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow and so many others, Teri Hatcher wants to bring her point of view to women, making them feel empowered. Reaching out to the women hiding within every mom (Teri herself is a mom, a single mom, to Emerson Rose, a 12-year-old girl), gethatched.com has more contributors than Teri besides being a website about and around’s Teri’s personal experience. This is great news, the only hitch is that, like every other celeb-product out there, it’s highly improbable to be also celeb-hand-made but more celeb-name-made, right? (via)

Marc Jacobs In Halston For Browns

Celebrating their 40s anniversary, the English Browns store organized an exhibition with images of famous fashion industry personalities, the Browns ambassadors.

Take Marc Jacobs for instance – he was photographed by Paolo Roversi wearing Halston and his most tragic face. Theatrical and somber, Marc Jacobs in Halston is some sight to see! Eva Herzigova in Mark Fast, Ann Demeulemeester in Ann Demeulemeester and Mrs B. in Marni. Fashionable ambassadors, my favorite still remains the tragic Marc Jacobs. Which one is yours? Short Jeans And Cardi, The Lazy Outfit

Summer is right around the corner. No, scratch that! Summer is right here! I haven’t found the right amount of courage deep down inside to show off my (very) short jeans, maybe close to the beach some time soon. I’m a dress girl, remember?

However, this look stole my eye for a second. First because of its simplicity and effectiveness – it looks retro without actually being so. And then because of those short jeans (jorts, like they’re called nowadays). I know DIY is good. I even think it can look flawless. This particular pair of jeans shorts is, however, asymmetrically cut. Intentional, I would say. But stylish? You tell me! (photo via)

Christina Aguilera’s German GQ June 2010 Cover

While everyone keeps on insisting on a comparison between Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera, I’m seeing nothing justifying the comparison if not for the fact that they’re both performers.

Trying to match Gaga’s trashyness to Christina’s classyness is just pointless. And GQ Germany June 2010 stands proof with this speechless cover! I may not exactly appreciate getting undressed for a photo shoot, but with Christina it’s always been like that. She’s got a good body and she’s taking advantage of it, showing it to get more attention. Only she does it with class, not like someone who’s walking around with almost nothing on and tons of wigs to express her artsyness. What do you think? Is there anything consistent behind the Gaga-Xtina war? (photo via)
