As you may have noticed, I’m pretty impressed when it comes to photography. Real photography, artistic, artsy. Not the computer-enhanced kind (not the airbrush-tool kind).
And as such, you may also recall a special series of photographs taken by Solve Sundsbo a while back under the title “Invitation a la danse”. Now I’m taking my hat off to Solve Sundsbo once more: The Girl from Atlantis is downright amazing! Part of Vogue Nippon’s May 2010 edition, this pictorial could just as well be one of the best interpretations of McQueen’s alien-ish collection. The model’s name? Alla Kostromichova. The styling was performed by George Cortina and the result was… well, I’ll let you wonder! Just let me know what you think! (photos tfs via fc)
