Lindsay Lohan’s New Chanel Tattoo Joins Older Ink

And just when you thought there was just about enough drama going on, Lindsay Lohan pops up with yet another trouble in her life. This, however, is not meant to cast the stone or the flashlight on Lilo’s much (un)interesting life.

Lindsay Lohan has found time and peace in her soul to ink a new tattoo on her wrist. And not just any tattoo! Oh, no! It’s a sparkling bird carrying a chain with the legendary interlocked double C logo! Yes. It’s the Chanel logo tattooed on Lindsay’s skin! Somewhere, in the dark depths of LiLo’s personality, that Chanel bird must have a meaning, right? Or simply while in France…

Swarovski City Park Short Animation

There’s advertising and then there’s advertising. While I may not be a devoted fan of crystal miniature animals, I do feel my heart in a cuteness overload state when looking at this short animation.

Created by Courtland Lomax, this City Park short animation (that you can see right after the jump) though not a premiere in its kind (it’s second short animation of the series, a special advertorial for Swarovski crystal lil’creatures, the Swarovski Lovlots) is funny and lighthearted. Not to mention a stunning piece of animation. Have you noticed the textures of those tiny animals? They look like they’re really made of crystal! Amazing!

Maybe She’s Born With It, Maybe It’s Photoshop!

There’s much talk as to where to draw the line between natural looks and computer-altered looks. Magazines images are no longer pictures of reality but fruits of editors, publishers and celeb pr-s imagination. Their collective agreement on how a body/face should look like has distorted our perception to a dangerous threshold some are even willing to cross (Botox, plastic surgery, anyone?)

This poster summarizes this trend in a funny way, and despite how much ink and how many bytes have already filled oceans in the No/Photoshop dispute. “What’s the secret of my success? It’s Adobe Photoshop Day Cream” said Madonna (in our poster). Isn’t this the work of a genius? (Giopet via tDW)

Farmville Lingerie: Rice Bra By Triumph

The day they’ll make Farmville -inspired Lingerie, I’m sure they’ll consider this model as part of the collection. Triumph’s unique bra is meant to illustrate the Japanese cultural realities and this year it’s all about farming.

Triumph’s Grow Your Own Rice Bra is made of two halves of a pot in which you can put soil and seed rice. The bra comes with a hose tied around the wearer’s waist. The hose can be tied to a tap to water the plants anytime, anywhere. Rice test tubes are also attached to the hose – you can put soil and rice seeds in the test tubes and see what you can get before taking the seeds to the upper level, in the rice bra. It’s a mad, mad world, I’m telling you! Now excuse me while I go harvest my Farmville plots! I’ll be back in no time! (via)

Kate Moss Does Vogue Paris June July 2010

It’s summertime on our magazines stands. Everything revolves around the beach and the sun. Vogue Paris June July 2010 issue comes with such a sunny cover, I can barely look at it without my shades on.

It’s Kate Moss wearing a golden swimsuit, heavy makeup and her usual gorgeousness glow. It’s by far more fashionable and beautiful than Blake Lively’s Vogue US. But let’s not judge a magazine by its cover only, let’s see the goodies inside. (which are – I must warn you – very photographic! Thank you, Mario Sorrenti for using the sun-given light and right exposure, right place to bring us some good imagery sans too much computer enhancements! you can jump to the gallery here)

Perfumes Are Poisonous?

There was something bothering me for quite some time: I’ve developed an extra care syndrome (I think it goes beyond attention, beyond care, I think it’s maniac behavior already) to check the labels of many (if not all) the products we buy. It’s something I depicted from a very close cousin who opened my eyes on labels.

Since the first time I laid eyes on my cosmetics labels, I freaked out. Properly. Have you checked your vanity? See how many parabens, acetyls and so many other synthetic substances make your “beauty” product “work”? How about if you check your perfume’s label? See what the magic liquor is really made of? What? There is no ingredients label? Oooh, that’s right! There’s no ingredients label on perfumes! Why is that? (don’t miss the perfumes with real chances of harming us right after the jump!)

Fortnight Lingerie Super Sexy CPR Ad Campaign

I’m positive I would not have heard about Fortnight Lingerie if it wasn’t for the Super Sexy CPR Ad Campaign they’ve put together to highlight their Spring Summer 2010 collection. And even so, I’m ever-so-curious what their target really is, for having created such advertising concept! You can check out the video right after the jump and have your say!

Fortnight lingerie is a Canadian lingerie brand with handmade pieces, discrete and versatile designs. Not wanting to narrow sizes down to the traditional system (34-38, A-D), Fortnight lingerie aims to be an actual fit for most women bodies out there. (the story continues right after the jump with more images and a video!)
