Constance Jablonski’s Beautiful Perfume Estee Lauder Ad Campaign

Call me a cliché lover, call me anything, but I think this is a beautiful ad! Well, at least the idea behind it is! Constance Jablonski is the bride from Estee Lauder’s Beautiful perfume ad campaign.

Photographed by Peter Lindbergh, the pictured moment should’ve been way more emotional than it ended up in print. Yes, they got the tagline right, “This is your moment to be beautiful” and they got the idea right. But boy, did they miss the emotion? (click the image for larger picture to convince yourself!) One Of The Best Relationship Advices. Michelle Obama’s Dating Tips

As always, I’m in awe about First Lady Michelle Obama and her ways. Not only do I approve of them, but I’m so happy and grateful that she’s not afraid to talk about her personal beliefs in public! The world can be so mean and unforgiving!

Anyhow, this is what Michelle Obama said last, and do take note, it’s a very good piece of advice for what should a relationship be based on! (it’s a fragment from an interview with ABC News’ David Muir and Michelle Obama, you can watch a short video here)

Muir: What advice will you give to your girls when they fall in love?
Michelle: Choose people who will lift you up. Find people who will make you better.
Muir: You said the president has made you better.
Michelle: Yes. I haven’t told him that so now it’s on the record, so he’s going to bring that up whenever I’m mad at him.

Angelina Jolie’s Louis Vuitton Campaign Video

It’s yet uncertain if this will become the official Louis Vuitton Core Values ad campaign video, however, Angelina Jolie’s video with her walking around carelessly in the woods, wearing the exact same outfit as she does in the official campaign image is something you don’t want to miss!

Why? Well because even if you may or may not remember the reports about Angelina’s Louis Vuitton campaign, you surely heard about some of the after comments: for instance they said she wasn’t wearing any makeup for the campaign. Which is blatantly false as proved by the very first image and sustained by the video below. There was also something about Brad Pitt being Angelina’s husband I’m still waiting to be cleared. In the mean time, let’s take a look at the video (and just in case it will disappear, I took the liberty to phase out few images, find them right after the jump!) (via)

Food Couture. Edible Fashion Labels

For those fashion people who enjoy eating (outside cotton balls, that is – and yes, if you’re reading / hearing this for the first time, eating cotton balls is a common practice for models, yes, it’s perfectly normal to experience goose bumps right now!) photographer Linus Morales has thought about everything!

A personal project has come to life in very fashionable shapes and symbols through the Chanel salami, the Fendi fish fingers, the Louis Vuitton toast and Gucci steak! Bon Fashion Appetit, my daaahlings! (you’d better enjoy these before the big lawyers bring the big law guns and mail out lawsuits on toast!) (Linus Morales via)

Eva Mendes Is Thierry Mugler’s Angel

After all the years we associated Thierry Mugler’s Angel perfume with Jerry Hall, time has finally washed the iconic blonde face from the Angel identification (meaning the Mugler marketing department was given directions to update the Angel image).

At first we were teased with Naomi Watts advertising for Angel, pretty much the same aesthetic as Jerry’s. Now, with Eva Mendes, it’s a new story altogether. Not only she’s not blonde, skinny or rock’n’roll but she’s funny, adorable and very much a today person. (she even sings for the campaign! Watch the video right after the jump!)

Newspaper Smelling Candle. The Times Of New York Edition

More I find out about things like this, more I’m convinced that paper is a very prolific material. Used as a print on media or as an inspiration, paper doesn’t fail to surprise me. The Times of New York Candle, as designed by Tobias Wong can be found that Bondtoo and can be yours for (“just”) $65!

For the price of a (very) decent perfume, you’ll scent your house (or office) with a powdery note and velvet nuance reproducing the smell of black ink on newsprint (since we talked about ink earlier, why not talk about real ink? on paper?)! I gather this is like the smell of freshly baked bread for some? (via)

For long time, tattooed individuals, especially the ones with higher percentage of inked skin surface than your average newspaper were not to be taken lightly. More tattoos, more seriously you have to be taken or else…
