Justin Timberlake’s In Time With Sasha Pivovarova

Despite my notorious unfriendly attitude towards spoilers and anything plot – revealing about upcoming movies, I’ll have to somewhat break that because of lovely Sasha. Sasha Pivovarova has starred in a movie with Justin Timberlake. And Olivia Wilde, and Amanda Seyfried. And more.
Sasha can be seen in the movie’s trailer, actually, at about 2.30 (if you’re curious about the trailer, you can find it here) and her role is some character’s mother-in-law, Clara. Odd though, if you were to check the cast list, Sasha’s name doesn’t appear in it. Something should be done about that! Either way, it’s a pleasant surprise, Sasha is following in her twin – like fellow model (yes, that’ll be Gemma) and steps into the Hollywood spotlight! Without being properly credited, though. Bar Refaeli’s Little Black Bikini

First of all, for those who are not familiar with the fashion world or the latest gossip, Bar Refaeli is a very sought after model. In addition to her fashion fame, she also made the tabloids and the gossip news delight as Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend.
Yep, before Blake, there was Bar. Now they both moved on and here she is, with her new boyfriend (David Fischer) vacationing. Sunbathing. If your desire is to take fashion cues from the celebrities, then you should note that Bar Refaeli wears a two pieces electric blue swimsuit which she also wears on separates: the electric blue top with a simple black bikini. I’m loving her – she looks healthy, a far cry from the usual stick thin model! Isn’t she just beautiful? (photos via)
Amy Winehouse Similar Dress Now On Sale

Amy Winehouse’s sudden and (somewhat) inexplicable death has taken everyone by surprise and they’re all experiencing some kind of magnetic fascination with the late star’s style and artistic manifestations.
Sales of her albums have exploded and everyone is feeling the heavy winged eyeliner and loving the puffed (Jersey like) updo. Even the great Karl Lagerfeld had named her a style icon and a genius.
I paired my saddened few words on the matter with a, like our friend Ajginger remarked, a happy picture of Amy waving back at us. I wish she could be like that now. Happy and in peace. Anyhow, if you’re enrolled in the remembering Amy army, a dress which resembles very much to the one in the picture below is available on sale for $25.86 (19.23 EUR). Don’t forget the heavy eyeliner and two packs of ultra long hair extensions.
Toms The Row By Ashley And Mary Kate Olsen

Remember when we saw Ashley Olsen wearing a pair of flat sandals from Birkenstock? It would appear that it wasn’t an isolated event as the Olsen sister’s The Row label had teamed up with Toms and produced a special collection.
Toms + The Row equals (at first sight) an overpriced pair of Toms. For $150, you have the chance to buy a wool, leather or cashmere pair of flat Toms (which you could otherwise have for a third of the price, sans The Row label). Oh, and then there’s the Toms policy – you buy one pair, they give one pair to a shoeless child. Wait – the same happens if you buy a $50 pair of Toms, doesn’t it? Yes, this is the third episode and it’s about what inspires Marc Jacobs. Fashpeople, take out your notebooks, ebooks, mobile phones and take notes! This is where Marc roots for inspiration!
Marc Jacobs favorite movie is Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf (with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton). Marc Jacobs loves auction houses. Marc Jacobs loves going to the gym. Marc Jacobs has a favorite city in the world. Two, actually: Paris and New York. Marc Jacobs favorite hotel is New York’s Mercer hotel, London’s Claridge’s hotel. Marc Jacobs’ favorite restaurant is New York’s Waverly Inn and Paris’ Kai (that’s it! They’ll be fully booked through December!). Marc Jacobs favorite cocktail drink : Diet Coke (what is it with fashpeople and their obsession with Diet Coke? What’s wrong with water? Limeade? hmmm). And just like that, we’ll be now talking about September issues… Karolina Kurkova’s Vogue Japan September 2011 is our first!
And, although featuring a very beautiful lady and photographed by a power photo couple – Inez and Vinoodh, the cover is far from impressive. Just because there’s a model on the cover, we shouldn’t necessarily settle for something less aesthetically pleasing. Does it? Everything from the color of the cover titles (which makes this Vogue look more like Elle) to Karolina’s awkward pose and face expression to that Armani dress is a no go for a Vogue cover. Goodbye Amy Winehouse! RIP!

Just a short one – to say that I too was deeply sorrowed and shocked to find out that Amy Winehouse had passed away (until now nothing specific was reported about her death so the cause of her decease it yet unknown).
Rest in peace, Amy! Your music will always stay with us and your style shall inspire us all. Fashion – wise. A true talent, that one. Troubled and oh – so darn gifted! (sigh) (photo via)
Givers Up Up Up

Talking so much about fall and the implacable arrival of cold weather got me thinking I should hold on to summer a little more and really make the best of it.
