(I can’t help but wonder how come she always gets the greatest styling and the most amazing clothes?)

Another month, another one of those gloomy, artsy ads from Prada. This time it’s the Prada Resort 2012 season and the girl representing for Miuccia’s label is Lea Seydoux. Yes, the same Lea as in Prada Candy. They must love her.

Otherwise I wouldn’t explain why no model out there can live up to Prada’s expectations when it comes to an ad campaign! The video is Prada-tastic (watch it after the jump), you know the psychedelic noir kind and the pictures, as photographed (just as the video was filmed) by Steven Meisel are… perfectly tuned into the Halloween spirit! (what? Don’t tell me you didn’t notice the strange shaped shadow?)

Also – French actresses seem to be the big model hit right now – think Marion Cotillard’s Dior, Lea’s Prada and Elisa Sednaoui’s Roberto Cavalli’s perfume as recently announced!

Talking about John Malkovich and his foray into the fashion industry got me thinking for something I read the other day. There’s a little rumor flying around according to which, Ryan Gosling would be a designer.

There’s nothing official yet, only an interview in which the author said something about Ryan Gosling putting on the leather jacket designed by him. Speculations? Maybe. Judging from the Drive jacket moment, there could be more to it than just a fugitive mention at the bottom of a printed interview. Ryan Gosling, however, continues to be one of the most underrated actors of the moment. Crossing fingers for his star to shine bright, he’s a very gifted actor. Have you seen him perform?

“I’m just so sick of myself. I can’t imagine how everyone else feels. And there’s just nowhere to go but down really from here. So, hey, it’s been nice. It’s been real.” He laughs hard, puts on his grey, self-designed leather jacket and feigns leaving, with some good reason.”

With every new detail I discover, with every story I find out, I like Hermes even more. It’s like a journey through Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory: Hermes Arts and Crafts!

John Malkovich who has always had a passion for fashion and costume-y dressing (who also, incidentally, studied theatre costuming in his young years) and who just happens to have an Italian wife, started a men fashion enterprise with an Italian designer (Ricardo Rami).

The name of the brand is Technobohemian (whoa!) and John Malkovich, who sketches the designs for his fashion adventure, will bring a pop up store to Paris this Christmas, so that every mortal can enjoy his quirky vision on style. He previously took his Opificio JM pop up store to Milan so I guess people must have shown interest in the $830 suits he put on display… I really like him as an actor, but thinking of John Malkovich as a fashion designer is, I admit, pretty challenging. You know there’s a Twilight premiere approaching? Yes, there has been others, the years before, however, this one is special! Why? Because it marks the debut of a new era. For Kristen Stewart, as Bella. It has to do with marriage and what comes after (I won’t be a spoiler, just take it as it is).

Naturally, Kristen Stewart is in high demand and she’s gracing magazine cover after magazine cover. Talking about more and more revealing truths about Twilight, herself and whatnot. (Kristen Stewart is the new Sarah Jessica Parker – turn your head, there goes another cover with either one of them talking about some other teeny tiny thing they did or didn’t talked about before. Yawn!).

I chose to talk about Kristen Stewart’s Glamour UK December 2011 because of Kristen’s pose. Choose whatever picture you like from the pictorial, cut’n’paste the head from another and you get the same look. Same expression. Everything is the same. Except for the clothes. Kristen, hun, can’t you just do something different? Please? Dear fashion editors worldwide, can you please use your imagination when styling Kristen? Please? As photoshopped as it is, this image of Marion Cotillard holding a Lady Dior Handbag, part of the Lady Dior Ad Campaign, is sheer perfection!

We’ve seen pictures from this campaign with Marion Cotillard taken all over the world, however this one is by far my favorite. Something about the sun, the blue skyes and the blue pool water… Something about this Steven Klein photographed image makes my heart melt and sigh for a Lady Dior! Which should be the actual purpose of the campaign after all… right?
