Because if it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t have been aware of the sheer gorgeousness that is a beaded bow tie!

Yes! A Beaded Bow Tie! Colorful, happy – and the beads always give me that cozy feeling, that incomparable warmth of a handmade item. Adrian Lima, my dahlings, gave birth to a baby girl, Sienna on September 12th. (yes, that’s barely a month and a week ago!) And she’s now working out, getting ready for this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show! Her trainer, Michael Olajide Jr. training her 2 times per day, every day, 2 to 3 hours long training sessions! If that won’t make an Angel out of her (out of anyone, actually), then I don’t know what would! {celebuzz, twitter}

We’re hardly seeing Naomi Campbell around anymore… Maybe it’s because she’s Russia – based now? I hope she’s all happy and glowing with her multi – millionaire long – time controversial boyfriend (who, last I heard, wasn’t even divorced yet. But hey, who’s counting wedding bands when you have so much money to count instead?).

Part of Naomi‘s undoubtedly glamorous Russian life is her getting a lot of Russian media attention. And Russian fashion magazines attention. Today I’m happy to present you with the latest Naomi Campbell cover: Russian Harper’s Bazaar November 2012 (I think). I’ve been waiting forever to show you these eyes! Halloween ready or not, here they come! The Avengers makeup on your eyelids! Granted, not for the ones – like me – who don’t carry more than mascara + concealer in their beauty bag, but! They do make amazing makeup statements for some pretty amazing occasions, right? (I haven’t located the source / author so if you have any clues about who the very talented makeup artist / passionate is, do step forward! Much appreciated!)

The Fall Winter 2012 issue of Garage Magazine is really promising as the cover is as explosive at it gets with Lindsey Wixson firing a gun in cartoon motion. I’ve come a long way concerning Lidsey: I was reticent at first, then just ignorant but now she’s definitely growing on me.

The girl really has potential, despite her doll – esque features. And this cartoon – ish pictorial is just the proof I needed. Originally photographed by Nick Knight, the images went into the post processing room and were sent to the print room looking like this. Now I imagine some of you may even consider them as cheesy, but I think they’re fun. And fresh. And Lindsey really looks good in Garage’s cartoon!

I think they’re so fun and so eighties! They’re definitely a change from those wedge sneakers I’m so tired of seeing everywhere in all kinds of more or less exact replicas of the original Willows by Isabel Marant! My dahlings? Remember I told you we were invited to a Christening last weekend? And that I got these ideas going through my head ever since? It’s about what to wear to said events. Because, honestly? That’s a lot of headache sometimes! A LOT! I had about two or three outfits ready and the weather just went against me and I had to choose a fourth one. Which wasn’t even planned. Thankfully it was in my closet…

Now, what you’re seeing below is a very loyal replica of what I wore at a wedding last month. (I told you about that one as well) A pink – ish dress with flowers on and golden sandals. High heels for the ceremony and flats for the dance ring. I think it’s perfectly feminine, comfy and you will, in no circumstance, shadow the bride! And that’s really something you need to consider when you’re planning your outfit for someone’s wedding. These are, officially, the creepiest shoes I’ve ever seen! And I’ve seen my share of dubiously designed & crafted shoes over the years! Mariana Fantich and Dominic Young (Fantich & Young) created this apparently normal looking pair of men shoes. The soles of these shoes, however, were made of 1,050 teeth glued on the very sole. Also, to match, they created an Apex Predator Suit out of human hair, glass eyes and more teeth. Halloween who? {yahoo}
