Daria Werbowy, Stephanie Seymour, Lauren Hutton: Vogue Paris November 2012

Well, now! That’s an odd, although extremely glamorous and fashion – interesting cover! I’ll explain myself: odd because although there’s a very powerful trifecta of models on Vogue Paris’ November 2012 newsstand cover, each of them hold true to her unique and different pose, thus making it pretty incoherent as a full. (Daria’s serious, Stephanie’s trying her best seductress face while Lauren is just… laughing her eyes out, all for Inez and Vinoodh’s lenses)

Extremely glamorous? Yes. Stretching way beyond their intentionally casual white shirt & outdated washed jeans outfits, the tree models are really legendary in the fashion industry. Just having them on the same cover is stunning enough.

Fashion – interesting? Definitely! This is not a model – cover! It’s a tree – models cover! And they’re representing for an ageless issue. Which is perfectly suitable. They all look amazing and charming in their own way (oh, and having Lauren laughing ear – to – ear is significant enough, given that she’s the voice of the silver age). This really triggers my curiosity for more. Yours?

In short! Because it really wouldn’t have made a pretty picture in a title sequence! Uma Thurman, who was recently honored at Elle’s annual Women in Hollywood gala, talked about her baby girl (with longtime boyfriend Arpad Busson). Spicy details aside, she most notably, talked about the girl’s name! Are you ready? Uma Thurman’s baby girl’s name is, as People quoted: (deep breathe) Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman – Busson. WOW! {zimbio, people}

To paraphrase Chanel’s Press Release for the occasion: For many, Brad Pitt is an icon. For others, a busy father of four, life partner of Angelina Jolie. But today, we’ll be talking about Brad Pitt, Chanel No. 5’s first male spokesperson.

I watched the videos (which you’ll see below and after the jump respectively) and still don’t feel the passion and the legend that are supposed to exude out of this simple bottle of Chanel No. 5 perfume. I imagine their initiative sounded brave and innovative at the very beginning, but now, after a two videos – ‘journey’, it’s just not catchy enough for me.

Although I was hoping for Doutzen to be the one, Alessandra Ambrosio was the logical choice: Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra this year is worn by the 31yo mother of two VS Angel.

The $2,5Million Floral Fantasy gift set (push – up bra and a matching belt, all reportedly adorned with amethysts, diamonds, rubies, sapphires) was made, just like last year, by Long Island’s London Jewelers.

I think it’s safe to say I have a new favorite: Emma Stone! (I’m sure this comes as a surprise to you – wink) But really, look at her! How can one not like her?

Yesterday, at the 19th edition of the annual Elle Women in Hollywood Celebration gala, Emma showed up all dressed in pink (cancer awareness month, duh!) Valentino dress (from the Resort 2013 collection) and wearing her most adorable sweet smile! I never thought one could wear such pink and look so good at the same time! Maybe because you were only waiting for the images to prove all those rumors right, here they go: photographed on several occasions, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are definitely back together again! I think we can now call the Robsten drama ended and the Robsten romance reloaded, huh? {X17, ET}

Much like many of you, I too have overheard the rumors talking about Rihanna and Anne Hathaway having their Vogue covers for November and December respectively. And I wasn’t happy, I admit. At first.

Then I started thinking: what if… I’d switch perspectives? And start looking at these “celebrity covers” from another angle, not from the fashion loving individual’s corner, who’s always asking for model covers? After all, months have passed, and things don’t look better. Au contraire: the celebrity covers have widely spread throughout various fashion magazines all over the world. It’s time for a change! And – as the legendary tune goes – ‘better start with the man in the mirror’!

Rihanna. Vogue US November 2012. Her second Vogue cover. Impressive, huh? My pros? It’s not a ‘white cover’! And that’s huge for Vogue US. It’s not a waif thin, underweight physical frame! If not long ago I was praising the much awaited comeback of my favorite model, Sasha Pivovarova and you promptly helped in indicating that the cover I was excited about was only a reprint of an old photo, this time it appears to be for real!

Sasha Pivovarova is back! And not just any kind of comeback: a Prada campaign and an Americana Manhasset video. What you’ll see below is the latter while the Prada promotional image is after the jump, scanned from some magazine… If and when more information will be available, I’ll keep you posted! (is it just me, or she’s looking thinner in the Prada print than she is in the Americana Manhasset video?)
