Margot Robbie Fabulous At 2014 Oscars In Saint Laurent Black Bow Dress

I’m treating this as a separate story because I really want to emphazise it: Margot Robbie looked fabulous at the 2014 Oscars! Her new dark hair, her black dress, her makeup, everything fell together magically in a heavy seduction veil over my eyes, keeping me from seeing anything else but her!

Wearing a black strapless dress with back bow from Saint Laurent, Margot Robbie was the very incarnation of Hollywood glamour and style! A walking lesson in style and timeless fashion I had no other way but to embrace and applaud!

Although the back bow leave no room for speculation, being one of Yves Saint Laurent’s trademark designs, it was hard to understand how Margot came to wear Saint Laurent. She’s the antithesis of Hedi Slimane’s typical model as she’s not having bones piercing through her clothes like Hedi likes his Saint Laurent women to be and even Margot herself got me used to some provocative-borderline-tacky outfits this Awards Season.

Save for tonight! On the 2014 Oscars Red Carpet, Margot Robbie was a show-stealer. A heartbreaker, a dream-maker! I think she looks even better with dark hair than she did in her Wolf-blond and given her versatility and her acting talent, I can’t wait to see what she’ll be playing next!

Maybe Hedi just got his next season’s model? Will wait and see, I’ll just allow myself to stare in utter admiration at her custom back bow Saint Laurent black dress, her perfectly glamorous retro wavy hairdo, her flawless posing and her mysterious smile, abundantly pigmented with plum lipstick! Yes, great dress and a nice try to relive old Hollywood glam. But this girl is only 23, she looks so much older than her age.
To be honest I rather stare at photos of Rita Hayworth if I want to see the old glamour.

Yes, true! You’re oh so very spot on!
I think it was kind of my way of apologizing (to myself) for bashing Margot in the past. This time she looked good, no tramp-olinish outfit for her at the Oscars. Should she know how to play her cards right, she might just grow stylish from now on. We’ll see! but it has been so long since I last saw someone who reminded me of old-days glamour so vividly!

Saw a photo of her at LAX airport leaving LA back to OZ casual dressed and sans makeup looking like a cute young 20-something!

I was actually surprised to find out how old she was (after seeing her in The Wolf…. and on the Red Carpet)!
