Paula Hayes is an avant-gardener. Educated in Fine Art and Sculpture, this landscape artist surprised me in a very pleasant way.
Besides her great landscape works and amazing terrariums, she created a living necklace. Tiny crocheted plant pots tied together in a soft chain, an extraordinary creation ready to adorn the eco conscious in you.
I’m not sure I could give in to the charms of Paula Hayes Living Necklaces since they look so painful to wear (imagine if there was a cactus in there!), but this could be, however, the beginning of a new jewelry era.
It’s gotta be one of the easiest ways to carry around your favorite piece of nature…
Could you wear the Living Necklace by Paula Hayes? (you can read more about Paula Hayes and her work here)

um…. no!!
Yes I would. Its art in itself and I enjoy the creativeness of it and the loveliness of combining botany and jewelery. Its novel.
This necklace would be a huge hit in certain coffee-shops in the Netherlands!
(If not appropiate for the US, delete me. I’m only Dutch….)
Lol Adriana! You should contact the designer, work something out! It would be sad to miss out a business opportunity these days!
