Just like the last Prada campaign, the new Spring Summer 2009 ads comes in episodes. I was somewhat surprised by the lace magnitude of the Fall Winter Collection signed Prada, but I loved their spokesface – Linda Evangelista. So I sang along their song and patiently waited for a lace-calm down.
When it finally happened, the new Prada ads were issued and even if I hoped for an improvement, all I got was a beige domino line. Now I’m graced with the black domino line. 7 models, all lined up for a photo wearing clothes that could bring the ironing industry to a sure bankruptcy but leaving me without any buying Prada desire whatsoever. Do these ads work for you? )click photo to see larger image)(photo via tfs)

No. I would have loved it tho to have been around in Milan when the first Prada sales ever were on!
The first ad looked like a publicity campaign for milk and now this second episode looks like a campaign for licorice. I can hardly see the clothes properly!
I’ve already seen the next episode where the ad looks like a campaign for Fort Knox!
I don’t really like ads or fashion pictorials where one cannot see the clothes clearly.Afterall that is the point in the sales pitch!
Like Dolly Bird I too cannot tell what the clothes look like. Are they doing a triptych?
The shoes I can see though and they are funky! : )
