Vivienne Westwood Ad Campaign By Juergen Teller
July 15th, 2008 by kpriss
It was about time I stumble upon some Juergen Teller… About now I think it’s clear enough I don’t really appreciate his vision but sometimes, oddly enough, they work just wonderfully with the subject.
Such is the case for these Vivienne Westwood ads. Relaxed, laid back pictures trying to get everything in a playful manner. Or so it seems to me. I like it when things are not taken too seriously and this time I have to give into Juergen’s ways for he really did a good job. (there’s more after the jump)
Double Trouble – Because Life Is Wonderful
July 13th, 2008 by kpriss
…I chose this special Easy Like Sunday Morning picture for you to enjoy. Because it was my favorite since the first second I laid my eyes on.
It’s far better than a cartoon moment but I has all that glittery joy of one special moment in time. A moment that seems to be drawn by a talented hand and thought by one playful mind. What are those three thinking right now?(click on the picture to see larger image)

Topshop Fall Winter 2008 2009
July 13th, 2008 by kpriss
Topshop is going global from this very fall with a new opening in the States. For their fall winter campaign they’ve signed Jourdan Dunn, Karlie Kloss, Amanda Laine and Kori Richardson.
Big names for a big high street label. Shot in trains and buses across London, the movement idea is clear as daylight. The problem is that even if they have all these pretty faces for the advertising campaign, the collection doesn’t look one inch more appealing. Full nineties flavor in one bad mix, what do you think? Coco Rocha, Karen Elson PHI Fall Winter 2008 2009
July 13th, 2008 by kpriss
Coco Rocha, surprising as ever with Karen Elson playing the pin ups before Steven Meisel’s lens. What a beautiful result!
Phi is a one edgy young brand with some heavy sense of glam humor since these first ads are fully showing it. The six poses and their retro air had me all smiling which is rare, given the dark atmosphere surrounding the fall-winter ads and shows. Like them or dislike them? What’s your artsy eye telling you? Burberry Prorsum Fall Winter 2008 2009 Fashion Show
July 12th, 2008 by kpriss
Earth tones, grey shades and nostalgic music. If you needed a reason to depress this fall winter 2008, Burberry Prorsum FW 08 09 will provide it easily.
Skinny shiny flare pants, dark tops and long necklaces matched with what people already called an off-trend – the maxi-bag (being in this case a messenger bag, a far from original style, but nonetheless adorable to me). It’s not ugly, it’s just depressive, dark and dull.(after the picture you can find the entire fashion show clip)
Contact Lenses Jewelry
July 11th, 2008 by kpriss
Now this is what I call living in a crazy world! Like it’s not enough already getting used to wear contact lenses, now you can have jewelry contact lenses.
It’s made in Holland and wears Erick Klarenbeek signature. Attached to your contact lens you can have pearls or other gems like it’s nothing! Luckily it’s just a concept (for now). Could you wear such a thing? I find it hard to believe it’s not getting in the way of your sight. What do you say? (via trendygirl)
Guerlain Homme Perfume
July 11th, 2008 by kpriss
I usually don’t do men fragrances but this time it was different. I found the article about this exclusive Guerlain Homme and I couldn’t resist it. It was so glorifying and written in that impossible to overlook kiss blogosphere style that stole my eyes. Even if now I want my 2 minutes back, I’ll revenge the lost time by writing what was most important in that page and half article:
It’s about a Guerlain Pininfarina design and about a smell that’s meant to be calling out the animal lying in every man. Sounds more like a Werewolf story to me, but I hope it smells better than announced. It’s an herbal scent sprinkled with rum and rhubarb. What kind of perfume do you prefer for you man?

Friday Break – Antonio Banderas Cancion Del Mariachi From Desperado
July 11th, 2008 by kpriss
I may not be the greatest dancer but I know a good song when I hear it and dancing it becomes a must.
Antonio Banderas may not be the greatest singer, but Cancion del Mariachi is more than a song. It’s that guitar. It’s that passion. It’s that celebration of life and love. Beyond designer clothes and heavy tagged products lies life. Simple and beautiful. You just have to know how to live it. How to dance it! Enjoy Desperado’s Cancion del Mariachi by Antonio Banderas!
