We’ve heard that coral is the shade of the season so many times so we might as well see how can we put it to good fashion use. This is the perfect example of great coral aesthetic, impeccable styling and overall excellence.
Maryna Linchuck on the cover of Vogue Russia May 2011 working the coral look for photographer Patrick Demarchelier. Don’t you just love the rock’n’roll edge and the general styles patchwork? The necklace, the dress and the gloves look like they were meant to be put together like this. And Maryna‘s pose is perfect! This is absolutely my favorite cover so far this year! Thank you, Vogue Russia for making fashion happen! (photo via)

Cameron Diaz – I missed her on the cover of a magazine lately! Now that she has a new movie coming out, she’s eligible for a Vogue cover. Surprisingly – Vogue UK!
Cameron’s golden cover for July’s 2010 issue of Vogue UK isn’t much of a stunner: yes, she’s a gorgeous woman, yes, that golden Balmain jacket brings the sun on the newsstands but also feels a bit too much. What I love the most about her pictorial, however, is that she’s not Photoshopped beyond recognition! You can actually see wrinkles on Cameron’s face! Not all of them, biensur, but a good dose of comforting signs of her infamous wide smile/laugh. Can you see them? (photos via)

We breathe some models air after long celeb-other-than-models covers.
Lily Donaldson covers UK Vogue for August. Looking rather fresh. Icy fresh. I thought the IT color for fingernails was neon pink this summer. And here comes Vogue’s Lily Donaldson to prove that blue’s alright too. What to choose? Neon pink or dreamy blue?

Remember when I was looking out for international Vogue editions and praising their aesthetics? This just isn’t one of those months. But then again, I already praised one December 2013 issue – Vogue US. I just might’ve emptied the praise bag right there!
The December 2013 of several international editions of Vogue magazines look like major fails. I’m fully aware that December issues aren’t supposed to be the feisty fashionable September issues, but I do expect them to be a little more festive than the average issues. And instead… I found these:
Vogue Spain December 2013
Joan Smalls styled by Belen Antolin and photographed by Karl Lagerfeld looks so disappointing! The perfect example of a fabulous cover gone horribly wrong. In fact I’ll correct that: the entire pictorial could’ve been breathtaking! If it weren’t for Lagerfeld and his obsessively un-living photographic perspective and unhealthy overdose of Chanel clothing!
Just judge for yourself by looking at four of Joan’s very fashionable and ultra versatile faces she’s making for Lagerfeld’s lenses!

It’s a good day for Vogue covers. And generally, it’s a good day for bright threesomes. Wink. Not the type you’d expect, though, as I already tried to surprise you earlier with a set of three gadgets you might not have seen coming for the upcoming Holiday season. Now I’d like to take this opportunity and insert a reasonable doubt that maybe, just maybe, the grand Vogue US and UK respectively, may be slightly old fashioned?
Sure, they go with certified values (Sandra Bullock and Claire Danes for the latest covers we discussed) but a quick look at the following three Vogue international covers is enough to declare them uber fashionable and very stylish.
Great models, great fashion, great photographers, great results. The least we can do is acknowledge these three great covers and sigh with admiration.

Well, hello there! look who’s back in fashion: Daria Werbowy! And she’s not shy about it either, claiming her reigning crown with not one but two Vogue covers and an ad campaign styled by Carine Roitfeld for Diane von Furstenberg, shot by Sebastian Faena.
I already said something about Daria’s Vogue Paris August 2013 issue cover, it’s time to talk about her inside pictorial as well. Except I’ll be brief about it as it’s not on my alley. Photographed by David Sims and styled by Emmanuelle Alt, Daria looks uncomfortable and uneasy, like a wet cat in a screen test for headbands. I’m not hyped about fall temperatures and the inevitable moisture and frizz, cold humid wind and muddy gardens, but for a pre-fall issue of a magazine as prestigious as Vogue Paris, this is a rather disappointing visual experience.

It’s been a while since we last talked about Anja Rubik, hasn’t it? Well, I talked about Gemma Ward, about Diane Kruger, so let’s see what another one of my favorite models has been up to lately.
As Emmanuelle Alt got us used to, her Vogue Paris issues pages usually belong to the same familiar faces. For August, Daria Werbowy takes the cover but Anja Rubik has the most interesting pictorial in my perspective. Practical and spectacular fashion rolled into the same photo session – what’s not to like?
also: this may very well be considered Vogue Paris’s way of paying a modest tribute to the notable baby event rocking the British Royal House this moment as almost every pictorial (including the cover) alludes to UK’s Royal Baby joy (don’t stop here, hit the jump to see the outfits!)

You were asking for more diverse covers? Well, you can get more beautiful than this Vogue Nederland July 2013 in my opinion! The colors on the cover are heart-melting and the entire layout is just oh-so-fashion!
Kinee Diouf as photographed by Ishi had my heart at the very first sight and I’m impatiently waiting for inside scoops (a modest preview awaits after the jump), to see if Vogue Netherlands wins the international Vogue summer editions. Not that Helena Bonham Carter’s Vogue UK was a summer cover per se, but I’m biased by my deep appreciation for HBC in favoring the British Vogue’s edition momentarily.
Paging our dear friend, Appollonia to see how this cover was perceived locally and all our other dear friends for feedback. What say you, my dahlings?
