Peaches Geldof Swimsuit Disaster

Peaches Geldof can be called many things, however, style icon is surely not one of those! I’m sure she’s a charming young woman, I’m sure she’s talented, in her own way. I’m also sure she could avoid being filed under Fashion Disaster if she could just keep her clothes on.

Though the photo may not clue you into it, Peaches is having fun, wild fun there! And her bathing suit is the very first sign of that “wild” fun. While we, mere fashmortals, we’re searching the highs and lows of the fashinterwebs to find the perfect swimming suit, some celebs really couldn’t care less when it comes to what they wear. So I’ll kindly take that respect and shove it right under Fashion Disaster, if you don’t mind! (photo via)

Push Magazine 2 Alexander McQueen Cover

You might guess why I went for this edition of Push It Magazine: Defender. And even if you didn’t see it, I’ll tell you anyway: McQueen. Yes. Alexander McQueen. There’s a special cover, tribute to his greatness, with a special styling and one of those alien cocoon dresses torn from Star Gate something.

I sometimes think there’s no justice seeing McQueen worn by this and that celeb (which was the SJP CFDA case – the dress was lovely. Flawless. However, there was something wrong with Sarah Jessica Parker wearing it. I may be pushing it too far – you tell me – see her photo right after the jump). I sometimes thing Alexander McQueen’s dresses (some, not all, I admit) are only meant for artful/artsy purposes – museums, most artistic photo shoots and so on. Now that I got that out of my chest – two more Push Defender covers are available: one with Maison Martin Margiela clothing and the other with Bottega Veneta. All photographed by Frank Berlin. As I suspect you’re not all as torn by the McQueen artsyness, please share your favorite Push Defender cover! (photos via 1, 2)

Coco Rocha, The Bride

Talking about parties and cakes. And Perfection! Have you seen Coco Rocha as the Bride? Her much talked about wedding dress was immaculate white and she looked like a princess!

No schmancy décolleté, no crazy hairdo, no artsy makeup! Coco was just perfect! So was her bouquet. (I’m guessing a mermaid-ish dress, by the looks of it – however, I can hardly wait for the entire dress to pop up in some photo soon! Oh, boy, do I love brides! And weddings! They remind me so much of me very own!) I know, Lara was beautiful too, but I can’t help it – Coco is definitely my favorite bride this season! How about yours? (photo via)

Princess Style Cake

Now this is my irresistible item of the day! No, it’s not a pair of sky scraping gorgeous heels, it’s not even a flowy, flowery, summery maxi dress! Not even a bag! It’s a cake!

Princess Peach birthday cake with sugar hard candy jewels! And it’s all for a little girl’s Super Mario themed birthday party! I so wish I had that cake chez moi right now! I’d think twice whether to spare the perfect candy jewels or not. On a second thought – not! That cake is so perfect, it wouldn’t last 10 minutes in our busy household! What, you think you can do better? I dare you, take a second look at it and tell me you’re on a diet of some crazy kind! (via)

Gisele, Isabeli, Angela Muse 22 Covers Summer 2010

You know I like simple covers. And more – when there’s no writing on the cover, it makes it even more interesting (as opposed to the floating characters on models faces, shoulders, everywhere on mainstream magazines).

However, there’s something as “too simple” when it comes to the Muse #22 Summer 2010 covers trifecta. Gisele Bundchen, Isabeli Fontana, Angela Lindvall. Gorgeous ladies, impeccable photos. And still – am I at that point sold to the mainstream, I can no longer see or appreciate real magazines simplicity? (is it just me, or Isabeli Fontana‘s cover has something from Helena Christensen’s Wicked Games?) (photos via)

Calvin Klein Obsession For Men Perfume, Felines Favorite

Have you heard that one? The nice people from Bronx Zoo have tested quite a few fragrances with their big big wild cats.

None of the 23 tested perfumes proved to be as interesting for the cheetah cats as Calvin Klein’s Obsession for Men. The cats spent more than 10 minutes sniffing the CK perfume on the sprayed tree. What should be make of it? (via, photos via 1, 2 photochopping courtesy Stylefrizz)

Heidi Klum Does GQ Germany July 2010

Heidi Klum gave birth to her fourth child last October. Just few months later, there she goes, posing for the German edition of GQ magazine, July 2010. That alone sets a high standard for young mothers all over the world.

As we talked previously, mothers are women too and Heidi (and her fellow Angels) are here to prove us just that. Except for that funny haircut I can’t seem to get under my skin, Heidi looks great and I’m happy she’s doing this (if not for other reasons which are obviously beyond me, since this is a men’s magazine, after all) for this world’s mothers who forget they’re also women besides being mothers to their children! Go Heidi! (via)

Miley Cyrus And Max Azria Collection For Wal Mart Goes On

Despite recent scandals involving certain items from Miley Cyrus collection for Wal-Mart (some of the jewelry) – her clothing collection with Max Azria goes on. And this photo shooting is additional proof to that fruitful collaboration.

Miley can be surprisingly pleasant when she’s not talking (or singing), just a charming young lady with guts and good looks. And a lot of money – for this fashcollaboration looks like a pretty good one. And Wal mart is just the right place for her collection – every mommy picking up her groceries could also please her young girl by choosing (at least) one item from Miley’s Max Azria Wal-mart collection. Nothing easier, right? (photos via)
