Miley Cyrus Collection with Max Azria For Walmart

Miley’s fashion designer career starts right around the corner, at your local Wal-Mart! Though the fashion power of the world’s number one discount department store company is questionable (in the same time being more revenue-powerful than a regular high fashion house), Miley Cyrus joins the recession-friendly commerce wave.

Designing with Max Azria (wait, what?) and modelling her own collection is a step up in Miley’s portfolio and surely a serious update in her bank account. The collection will be priced under $20 and it’s all about tees, graphic tees, more tees, tops, pants (skinny, I imagine), shoes and accessories. Or like Miley puts it: “I love creating looks that are all about expression and individuality”. Nevertheless, don’t you just love buying Max Azria at your local Walmart! (starting August!) Sighs…..of late I almost get a huge depression I’ve worked as a bartender and a cleaner at the same time to get a fashion education! I’ve worked my ass off! I sewed clothes by hands at 8 and what has did celebtart done to “achieve” this? Ughhh…= soooooo fed up with celebs, celebratism etc. etc.

When one is famous or infamous one can have any career at whim, which is sad. It is a slap in the face to those who actually worked hard and went to study a chosen field because they have a love or passion for it. I too am a little put off by this trend of nepotism it is disheartening.
Adriana I would love for you to design something for me! I know it would be absolutely amazing! : )

Ellington, thanks for your sweet words. But sometimes I’m so sick of it that people who can’t hold a needle in their hand to sew a button on their coat or repair a zipper, needs stylists, needs dry cleaners etc. etc. can “design” collections and are taken serious!

Ellington, such a wonderful idea! Adriana, why don’t we support your designer self? I know I’ll save a special place here, on Stylefrizz for you and your creations! what say you? (miley, who?)

I’ve the name for the label yet! Now I need the energy and the guts!

I was really kinda “jealous” at Viktor&Rolf and their crew of co-workers. I’ve once worked with a group of people on the clothes for a theatre production The Golem. Such a joy and very insteresting because I’ve learnt so much from the more experienced people. I had a very tiny part too. Haha, I can yell, but to do it a lot of nights in a row….I’m not a good actress, I had to run around scream and luckily not alone either….hahaha…..
And another time I made the clothes and some decor props all by myself for friends who’d performed their own play in our art-theatre house. I didn’t got paid much but was so proud: my name in a theatre programme……:-))

Oh, I love what Sal does with all her ideas and charm and I can get on her blog anymore it’s a mystery….grrrrr….Sal if you read this: I think you’re wonderful. Rachel…what’s her last name?

(it’s strange.. I can access Sal’s blog – try CTRL F5 when accessing her blog, it could work)

So, when shall we expect you in our beloved Dare To Wear category?

(I was talking about that Rachel ??? stylist)

Yeah, good question Kpriss. A lot depends on the eye-research due to Lupus or the Lupus medication…..sighs…..

Can’t attend Sal’s blog. Tried your tip. I can see the blog but then a window with a red cross appears that says something like: “Prossessing broke off. Site is off-line or there’s no access” in Vista-Dutch. Then I’ve to click on OK and Sal dissapears and I get the page that give “instructions” and tells me it’s not my connection, that’s okay but the site blahblah….whatever….I need a IT-nerd I guess?

Hmm (will ask on, but I’m no Vista connaisseur)

(Rachel who? need one more hint, pretty please!)

Rachel Zoe!

I hate Vista! I miss XP.

(passed on and received a piece of advice: ) you should install Firefox and/or Chrome as alternative Internet browsers. Exclusively using IE can drive you off the edge! (I know it has that special potential, I felt it on my own Internet browsing self!)

As for Rachel Zoe I’m not a big fan, really. She seems to be proffering that being skinny is already stylish.

Kpriss, I’ve heard that before about Firefox. I need a nerd plus I want a desktop PC too. Thanks anyway.

Rachel Zoe? I agree. Don’t get the hype around this woman. Don’t get it either why certain people can’t dress themselves anymore these days….

#13 kpriss on 06.14.09 at 12:58 pm

(why would you want a desktop? as for Firefox/Chrome, sooner you’ll get them, the better! After installing those browsers you’ll discover the true power of internet strolling! ;) )

Having a stylist (besides being a fashion these days) is the safe choice for stars (who really have so many things on their minds and hands to handle dressing themselves too!). If you enumerate some of Rachel Zoe’s followers is reason enough to discard that woman’s influence! (Lilo? Nicole Richie?)

Kpriss, I want a laptop and a desktop. Just for comfort. I find it more comfortable to use a desktop. I can sit better, I like a good monitor screen too etc.

Rachel Zoe herself does look afwul too.
LOL! Yes, these poor, poor stars…
