Ashley And Mary Kate Olsen Sunglasses Collection With Absolute Black Design
July 5th, 2010 by kpriss
It’s one of my firmest convictions (at least regarding the celebs-related anything) – if you made a name for yourself, there’s nothing stopping you from branding it! Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are the living (double) example of how to make a living off of your name.
Even if they have a stylist employed for official events, the twins have a fashion industry on their hands as they’re coming out with yet more products to solidify their trendsetters status in the eyes of the world. And I meant every word I said: Mary – Kate and Ashley Olsen now have a range of sunglasses ready to hit stores this November. Ranging between $150 and $265, this is the teaser of a more important collection set for the Spring of 2011. The two models presented now (the Fairfax and the Hudson) can also be found in a limited luxury edition – with 24karat gold coated lenses at $425. Wouldn’t you want some quality golden eye vision? I think I’ll stick with Dior’s contact lenses if I absolutely have to have some gold in my eyes! (via)

Please Travel Light! The Paris Hilton Edition
July 4th, 2010 by kpriss
Or you’ll end up in someone’s picture, somewhere, and we’ll all be looking at your luggage just like we do now at Paris Hilton’s! She tweeted a picture of herself surrounded by her friends. Slash that – surrounded by her Louis Vuitton cases. She was packing for South Africa. For the World Cup.
While I’m sitting here wondering how on Earth can someone still enjoy a second of time off while in holiday with all that luggage (I have to assume she’s spending at least half her staying packing and unpacking), somewhere on the interwebs someone writes about Paris detention in South Africa. For herbal reasons only. Makes you wonder what she really had packing in those fancy LV suitcases, doesn’t it? (via)

Levi’s Everybody’s Work Is Equally Important Go Forth Campaign
July 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
There’s a high possibility that the situation of Braddock, Pennsylvania, however, in short, the story resumes to the revitalization of a city. Its major, John Fetterman fights hard to bring the city back to life. And that is always wonderful, a great initiative. Levi’s fights for Braddock too.
This is Levi’s campaign Go Forth under the title “everybody’s work is equally important” – the campaign is released this 4th of July. Take my word for it, watch the video (with sound on), right after the jump, it’s really worth it! So are the campaign images, take a look and tell me what you think! (the Go Forth campaign was signed by Wieden Kennedy Portland and the video was directed by John Hillcoat) (via)
The $150,000 Eternal Diamond Stiletto
July 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
At first I thought they were made for some fancy Cinderella moment. No. it’s an “ordinary” stiletto with a less ordinary shape and price: $150,000.
The jewelers creators, House of Borgezie (and more specifically British Jeweler Christopher Michael Shellis), admitted they had to reinvent the entire shoe concept in order to (hand) make this Eternal Diamond stiletto with 2,200 diamonds. Of course there’s a waiting list. Our beloved celeb, as much as they love being unique, they love snobbery acquisitions even more: music, modeling and football big names stand in row for the Eternal Diamond stilettos. Imagine wearing these wonders! Worry much? Don’t! The Eternal Diamond Stilettos have a 1,000 year guarantee! Where’s that list?

Because many of you will be out celebrating this weekend (4th of July that is) and because our beloved Canadian friends already started the joyful fete when they celebrated Canada’s Day yesterday (Happy Canada Day!), I thought it would be a nice sight to see… For happy days. Always.
This clock popped up my internet-alley and I couldn’t resist sharing it with you! It’s cute, it’s vintage and most of all – it’s a happy one! Long live happy days! Have a Happy Day Every Day! (photo via)
Designer Diapers By Cynthia Rowley
July 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
We’ve seen the jeans diapers but I really thought it was the best so far. In diapers. I was so wrong! It was only the begging, it seems!
The latest in designer diapers is Cynthia Rowley’s Pampers collaboration. 11 styles declined in boys and girls models will be available starting this very month (July 2010) in Target stores. It’s great that the infamous diaper will experience something new and fancy, however let’s hope that this won’t make diapers as expensive as NASA rockets. Would you have designer diapers for your baby? (via)

Victoria Beckham Designed The Interior For Range Rover Evoque
July 2nd, 2010 by kpriss
Besides being extremely busy with her fashion label, Victoria Beckham has time for intensive designer deeds. She was asked to design the interior for the new upcoming Range Rover Evoque. And so she did.
The car is supposedly the greenest Range Rover up to date, the new fashioned car joins her older sister, the Range Rover Vogue (which was named so because Vogue used a Range Rover for one of their photoshootings in 1981). We’re of course curious to know how the interior really looks like, however, the new Evoque will be available next year for $45,000. Posh doesn’t come cheap, daaahling! (via)
