Heidi Klum’s Robot Halloween 2010 Costume

Knowing Heidi has such a passion with Halloween costumes (remember her marvelous Raven costume from last year?), I was really curious what she’ll have on this weekend!

And boy, wait till you see what she had cooking for us this year! It’s all for our (and her’s, I’m sure) entertaining! When Heidi does Halloween, it’s really a celebration she’s living through her pores! Check out the robot formerly known as Heidi Klum Samuel! Doesn’t she look great? After giving us that stunningly sense-voided commercial and the headache that accompanied it, Gucci is coming strong with something as high – useless as it is high –tech: the first ever 3D luxury glasses.

Pioneering is good, but pioneering has to bring something useful for the human kind, not just for the snobbish section of it! Gucci thinks that 3D is the next big thing. They may be right, but with a $225 price tag for a pair of plastic glasses, don’t you suddenly feel more appreciative vis-à-vis those cheap plastic glasses they give you in cinemas? (and the answer is no – you can’t wear those Gucci 3D glasses outside the cinema. It’s only meant for the darkness of the 3D projecting cinemas!) (via)

We’ve been at it so many times, I lost count. And for a brief moment, I loosened the baby bump watch. And what do you know? It happened! It actually happened!

Penelope Cruz, ladies and gents, really is pregnant! Something as miraculous and as wonderful as a pregnancy doesn’t have to go on hiding so Penelope shared with the world (via the paparazzi) her magnificent pregnant shape while out and about with her husband (need I remind you – Javier Bardem). You thought bicycling was the new Converse? Well, not really – Converse is back! With a new collaboration: Converse and Uno de 50, a Spanish jewelry label.

What’s jewelry got to do with Converse sneakers, one might ask… Well, take a look below and you’ll see just what! Converse sneakers with leather fringes! Something I never thought I’d see, however, something entirely DIY that we could try any day. More so since this collaboration is limited to only 50 pairs (Uno de 50?). So what do you say? Thierry Lasry. That’s the name you have to remember when you go buy your next pair of sunglasses. Why? Because it’s the new big thing in Hollywood. Not that we care that much, but really, when a brand makes Madonna forget she has her own branded sunglasses with Dolce and Gabbana, it must be worth something. If not a lawsuit, than maybe a new trend?

I remember a time when wearing another brand’s watch was a lawsuit case for some celebrity advertising deals. Now it seems her Madgesty worries not about the fate of her MDG shades contract with D & G while filming her movie in NY (the movie is called W.E.).

Now with all that couture vibe in bicycling, I feel there’s something – cycling to say every day… Like all things fashion, this will surely fade also, but for the moment, let’s enjoy this environmental – friendly pretext from the Haute Houses of the world.

A couple of Swedish designers Anna Haupt and Terese Alstin have designed and developed a special kind of helmet: the Hovding helmet for cycling beauties. Safe beauties, that is! Because the $360 Hovding helmet functions just like an airbag collar: it looks like a scarf but it inflates in 0,1 seconds when accelerometers and gyro – meters inside detect sudden jolt. Remember we talked about that $2 Million Diamonds Bra from Victoria’s Secret? Well, this year’s Fantasy Bra is worn by Adriana Lima. (I told you that too)

And she actually premiered the bra just the other day. I thought it was a nice perspective to watch and to think/talk about. First because it’s an undeniable proof of outstanding craftsmanship and then because it challenges my imagination to find the proper wearer for this… piece. And the proper motivation for wearing something like this.
