Today, my friends, we’re adding another year to our time together! Isn’t that wonderful? We, over at Stylefrizz, we wish you a great, mindblowing, peaceful and loveful 2011! Happy New Year! (photo via)
Supermodels Beach Superholiday
December 31st, 2010 by kpriss
What would Christmas be without a little… snow? You think? I bet the supermodels know that one a bit different: what would Christmas be without a little sun? Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Bar Refaeli all met up in Cabo, Mexico for a beach sun session. Stephanie Seymour was also spotted in St Barts.
Okay, actually they were all crumbled poolside, but for the love of the image, let’s call it beach. Because supermodels love showing their superbodies, they’re celebrating the Holidays poolside. How about you? How do you love your Holidays? (we’re gathering the family around the classic Christmas tree, caroling and celebrating the cozy way) (photos via 1, 2)
Copper Sequins Necklace By Suzanna Dai
December 31st, 2010 by kpriss
I know you’re looking for that special outfit to celebrate New Year’s in. If you’re running out of inspiration, you can consider wearing one of your old outfits that go great on you and add just a wild, fresh touch.
How to do that? Nothing simpler: think scarves, necklaces. Take for instance this Copper Paris Necklace by Suzanna Dai. I was just browsing the interwebs, looking for something interesting when I saw this amazing piece with metal copper sequins. It’s definitely one of those statement pieces that’ll look great on you and it’ll most certainly capture all the attention! (oh, yes – it costs $395)
Freja, Kristen, Raquel Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2011
December 31st, 2010 by kpriss
We’ve seen the collection, now here’s the ad campaign! Louis Vuitton’s Spring Summer 2011 ad campaign starring Freja Beha Erichsen, Kristen McMenamy, Raquel Zimmermann.
I have to go for tacky. Again. Huge amounts of tacky with an Asian flavor. Also, with all due respect for Kristen and Raquel, it seems they favor Freja by a long shot – she’s the only one who’s not pulling a forced, fake, theatrical expression. I like her, but I would love to see the others shining also. It’s kitschy enough to have a zillion stars shining through, why not three? (photo via)
Hello Clip On Bangs, Goodbye Hats
December 29th, 2010 by kpriss
Bad hair day? Tired of your look and desperately seeking a radical hair change? We may not have Kate Moss’ talent (or kitchen scissors), but we too appreciate a good fringe. Don’t we?
The downside of any fringe is that once you have it, you can’t really grow it back on. You’re kinda stuck with those bangs. Weather you like it or not, weather they look good or not. Now the answer to your fringe – unhappiness comes from Urban Outfitters. They thought of you and for you especially they designed and made available a $30 fringe. Human hair, clip on bangs available in five colors. How can you possibly resist? (available here; via)
Porsche Stylish Bobsleigh
December 29th, 2010 by kpriss
This amazing Porsche Design Bobsleigh was available for $260. Was – because, for obvious Holidays and appropriate weather reasons, the sleek and stylish Porsche Bobsleigh is a sellout (at least for the US market).
I could go on with describing the unbelievable sliding advantages of such a sleigh designed for performance. However, I would completely lack the Kaiser’s amazing charm at being disappointed that this Porsche bobsleigh doesn’t come from one of Paris’ catwalk… And I wouldn’t have Baptiste to tell me it’s actually German either. Now all it’s missing from this Porsche package is the giant museum poster. (actually I think a technology wonder deserves more museum space than a perfume bottle, but that’s just me. or not?) Sequined Chanel No. 5 Makes Paris’ Musee D’Orsay
December 29th, 2010 by kpriss
A gigantic Chanel No. 5 bottle, entirely made of sequins (hand sewn) will be placed on the prestigious Musee D’Orsay from Paris. Covering no less than 2,890 square feet from the exterior wall of the museum, the sequins bottle and the museum will symbiotically coexist this very January 2011.
As long as I strive myself to see the liaison between this fragrance and le Musee D’Orsay, I’m having a hard time understanding the museum – worthy dimension of this sequined bottle. Are we left to understand that for the French, a Chanel perfume bottle is a matter of such high art as to make it museum worthy? Or is it just another way to monetize anything in order for real art to survive? (via)
Lacoste Unconventional Chic Ad Campaign 2011
December 29th, 2010 by kpriss
Will the new Lacoste 2011 ad campaign be more effective, commercial wise than the last one? And by the last one I am referring, of course, to the well known “Un peu d’air sur Terre” (appx A breath of air on Earth) Lacoste campaign that lasted no less than 10 seasons.
And I’m curious at a commercial level because, for obvious reasons, the new Lacoste Unconventional Chic ad campaign is far more aesthetically impressive than the “air” one. Featuring high class models (Liya Kebede, Anja Rubik, Jon Kortajarena and Noah Mills), the glamorous campaign was photographed by Mert and Marcus. And it’s not just the idea of mixing the couture and the casual, the simplicity of the black and white outfits, it’s the thought that luxury can be broke down with a mere polo tee and still keep a high class fashion note. (besides, Liya and Anja could wear just about anything in my opinion, not just sequins and cotton polo shirts) How do you feel the new Lacoste Unconventional Chic? (via 1, 2)
