Spring Wedges From Chloe Spring Summer 2014
September 30th, 2013 by kpriss
If an entire month of graphic prints and black and white monotony on the catwalk is getting to you, stop for a moment to breathe the beautiful neutrals in Chloe Spring Summer 2014 collection!
Lovely pleats and bright printed creases, it was a contrasting collection. The loose fabrics and the fluttering sleeves and hems look pretty tight because of all the narrow pleated and creased clothes. A natural looseness and softness of the styling process made all the clothes look good in movement. Which, again, is one of the principles followed by fashion designers for their Spring Summer 2014 collection.

Put On Your Dancing Shoes From Lanvin SS14
September 28th, 2013 by kpriss
If you dream of endlessly glamorous parties and supremely elegant shiny flapper dresses but most of all you like bows and dancing, stop for a moment to admire the beautiful Lanvin Spring Summer 2014 collection!
Trying to capture the essence of the Lanvin Spring Summer 2014 collection in one word is like trying to capture the flutter of a butterfly with glitter wings. It just doesn’t fit. In one word. In one phrase. In one column. Alber Elbaz collection was sheer poetry in movement, infused with glamour of a past era and memories of a lost style in a new fashion party.
The shiny tea of metallic fabric and loose silhouettes hinted back at the flapper glory days when all you need were your dancing shoes to make a memorable night out of any night.

Navy Inspired Stella Luna Sandals In Anthony Vaccarello SS14
September 26th, 2013 by kpriss
If you’re inspired by all things navy and swimsuits, Anthony Vaccarello has you covered (well, sort of) for Spring Summer 2014 with his new collection presented at the Paris Fashion Week two days ago.
Faithful to his muse, Anja Rubik, but also to his dressing philosophy that looks more like un-dressing, Anthony Vaccarello teamed up with Stella Luna for yet another season of matching shoes. The ambitious aesthetic of both Vaccarello and Stella’s Stephen Chi seem to make a wonder fashion team.
As you’ve already seen from my previous fashion week stories, I’ll focus on the shoes for this show as well.

Greece Inspired Spring Shoes From Dolce&Gabbana SS14
September 25th, 2013 by kpriss
Planning a summer holiday in Greece next year? Or simply drowning in nostalgia about all things Greece? Because Dolce & Gabbana seem to, in their Spring Summer 2014 collection!
I wanted to wrap up my Milan Fashion Week talk this season with this particular Dolce & Gabbana Spring Summer 2014 presentation as it is as contrasting as it is playful and seducing. A golden game of romanticism and material culture braided into an eminently spring worthy palette. The shoes illustrate that spirit perfectly, so let’s take a closer look after the jump!
2013 Emmy Awards Red Carpet Jewel Dresses
September 23rd, 2013 by kpriss
Watching the 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards Red Carpet was a little like staring at rainbows. There was certainly no dull choice among the jewel-toned gowns of the ladies attending TV’s biggest night!
Although it was really hard to pick a favorite, I would say that my personal tastes were inclined towards picking Jessica Pare who wore a lovely turquoise Oscar de la Renta dress as one of the most fashionable of the night. Especially since the gown was hot off the catwalk, part of the Spring Summer 2014 collection that was shown just a little over a week ago in New York. That’s fresh fashion indeed! Closely behind Jessica Pare’s OdlR gown, in my top of preferences, I’d like you to admire (after the jump) the ever-flawless Heidi Klum in skin-tight Versace!

Ombre Sandals, Gradient Bags For Spring From Fendi SS14
September 20th, 2013 by kpriss
If you’re missing the transparent plastic stilettos and whatnots from the 2010-2011 fashion seasons, Fendi Spring Summer 2014 is your go-to shopping destination. And if you’re totally addicted to anything gradient, bet all on Fendi’s seasonal ombre!
Studying the stylists books for Spring 2014 and discovering that graphic print is SS14 must was, I’m certain, heaven on fashion Earth for Karl Lagerfeld who issued a very graphic collection. Take that and add layers of sheer fabric to obtain the visuals of the Fendi Spring Summer 2014 collection. A graphic fashion game of peek-a-boo with strapped ombre sandals and madly beautiful gradient bags!
Speaking of sandals and bags, let’s take a closer look (warning: picture heavy story, hit the jump to see all the images):
Gucci Spring Summer 2014 Shoes And Bags. Straps And Fringes
September 19th, 2013 by kpriss
If you dream of wardrobes like Katy Perry’s or Blake Lively’s, you need to read the following, to know what to you must wear next spring!
Fashion is moving fast so here we are, forget NYFW, and LFW, start discussing about Milan Fashion Week with Gucci Spring Summer 2014. An unmistakably sensual collection playing with loose shapes, oversized details, straps, fringes and .. did I say loose already?
The word describing Frida Giannini’s SS14 collection for the house of Gucci was ‘activewear’. Sure, there were a lot of references to clothes we’d wear on our way to the gym, but the embroidery and the fringe details were so careful, minutiose and sensual that you’d more likely think loungewear than treadmill sessions!
Let’s take a look at the shoes and bags conceived by Frida Giannini’s team for Gucci Spring Summer 2014 (oh, and by the way, Blake Lively was indeed, seated Front Row at this show! Right next to Anna Wintour – convince yourself here):
