Naturally, Happy!
October 19th, 2011 by kpriss
And this, my lovelies, is what I call the look of happiness! It’s all on a (Happy) Hump Day, so it’s self explanatory! However, something about this image inspired me big time today, so I’d like you to weigh in and tell me what you feel when you see this picture.
What comes to your mind, and I’ll tell you what came to my mind! You first! (few facts: this is Nicole Trunfio as photographed by Stef King and published in the Sunday Times Magazine, the Australian edition. Nicole is wearing jewelry pieces from her label, Eight and a Half and was styled by Claire Davies with makeup by Penny Antuar)
Olivia Wilde Is A Revlon Ambassador
October 18th, 2011 by kpriss
Although the pictures available don’t clearly state what product she’ll be representing, one thing is certain: Olivia Wilde is the new Revlon ambassador in town!
And in all fairness, have you seen Olivia’s eyes? I bet that they glow in the dark! Especially when she’s wearing makeup, her impossibly blue eyes look surreal! Can’t wait for her Revlon ads to surface, I’m sure I’ll be blown away! And look at that hair! So simple, so beautiful (I think I’ll be stealing this hair styling idea for my next special occasion – wink)! Olivia Wilde is one of Hollywood’s most beautiful women at this time! (although there’s no way she could ever take Zoe’s place in my heart!)

Voguepedia Vs Vogue Encyclo
October 18th, 2011 by kpriss
When Voguepedia was launched, I was like “um.. yeah, sure, it’s nice” but wasn’t swept off of my feet. With Vogue Encyclo, it’s an entirely different story!
Although based on the same concepts, Voguepedia and Vogue Encyclo are as different as black and white. The first was launched under Vogue US and the second under Vogue Italy. You can expect anything from Franca Sozzani but following in someone else’s footsteps. Franca has an entirely new vision of what a fashion tell-all website should be! And it’s way more democratically conceived, thus it will become way more popular than Voguepedia. Wait and see! Vogue Encyclo is who what when how in fashion, only wrote by you. By any of you! And moderated by them. Naturally.
Which style suits you better – the Voguepedia imposed fashion dictionary or the Vogue Encyclo, a webocratic approach of anything, everything fashion? I’ll go for the latter, eyes closed!

Coco Rocha’s ANTM Violent Photo Shoot
October 18th, 2011 by kpriss
Last week I was marveled and enchanted by the work of the people involved in America’s Next Top Model. Now I’m speechless and saddened. Maybe I’m taking things too far? You’ll tell me after a quick look at their latest photo shoot project.
It involves a model I love dearly: Coco Rocha. And she’s doing a very interesting theme with the girls from ANTM. I can’t even wrap my head around it enough to give it a possible reason, let alone understand where this photo shoot with Coco Rocha is going and where it came from! In her quest for stardomness, is Tyra taking things a bit too far? Am I taking things too far?
Maison Martin Margiela Nylon Sneakers
October 17th, 2011 by kpriss
Are you all geared up for the fall season? If you count sneakers among your favorite shoes, then Maison Martin Margiela created a pretty special shape for you this season. A black sneaker, under the logo radar. All black, all fierce.
You know I’m in favor of color pops in an outfit, especially when the cold weather pops, something should break the grays and the browns and the blacks. What if we’d use black to break in… white? Butter? Soft pink? Coral? How would you feel about using Maison Martin Margiela’s black sneakers as a center piece and construct an entire look around it? What would it be? How would it look like?
Monday Office Outfits

I was getting ready for that piece du jour thing we do? And I said to myself “wouldn’t it be nice to go get something we can actually wear? In an every-day situation?”. Yes it would, came the answer, from the other side of my fashion – heated – head. So there I go again, back to Outfit of the Day’s roots.
And celebrating too! Since we haven’t done this in a while, why not celebrate? Put together two outfits instead of one? Here I go – since we talked about BHLDN a week or two ago and we agreed upon loving Anthropologie, here’s a lil’ Anthropologie exclusive! (just to be clear on something – Anthropologie doesn’t have the slightest idea who I am and what I cooked today! – wink – ). Come on, click through to discover the goodies! (and tell me which look your loved best and why)
