Best Snack Food Popcorn. Wait, What

I’m confused! “Healthy” snacks usually meant: fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds. But we got it all wrong: popcorn is “the perfect snack food” – in its unprocessed whole grain there’s a high concentration of polyphenols (good antioxidants, more than in most fruits and veggies). Lovely Coco Rocha is a rare sight to see in fashion these days. And although I’m hoping that that’s happening because of her blooming life as a wife, I’m really happy to see her do fashion every once in awhile. Especially since she’s so adorably fierce (wait, what did I just say? Pffff! Moving on…)

So Coco Rocha is rocking The Room, Hudson Bay Co Spring Summer 2012 ad campaign like no other, with a lot of energy and dedication. At a closer inspection, the video (hit the jump to see it) looks like a rock fitness session! Coco never fails to impress me with her fashion pose, and dancing skills. It’s always great to see models with something else other than just empty mannequin – like attitudes. And look at her, isn’t she beaming with positivity?

Although I feel like I talked about this a million times before, I think it won’t hurt saying it again: having a baby will not mess with your body. Unless that’s what you want. And in this case, you don’t have the pregnancy to blame but only yourself. But that’s another story I won’t get into right now. I just want you all to focus on what Arizona Muse said about pregnancy and post baby body.

Arizona is one of the most sought – after models of the moment (and by “moment” I mean three seasons already). But did you know she’s also a mother to a 3yo baby boy, Nikko? You know what that means, right? That means that Arizona Muse was pregnant. And look at her now!

When questioned about juggling modeling career and baby, post baby body and so forth, Arizona said it would be better to shape your career prior to having a baby. (hit the jump for an answer to “why that”) and also:

You just have to give your body time. You can’t have a three-month-old baby and think, ‘That’s it for me.’ I tell mothers that you have to wait a whole year before you start judging your body, before you start working on it.

What’s Burberry cooking under its Burberry Eyewear hood? The latest teaser they released was shaping up like one of Burberry’s beloved Acoustic music sessions. But no, it has to do with Burberry Eyewear. And with April. Coming soon, they say. But what?

I mentioned Heidi Klum who was charming on the Kids Choice Awards 2012 Red Carpet (although she caught some of that green mean slime on the stage, later on). But I just realized I skipped Katy Perry altogether. (not that it would be a bad thing, but still, as strange as it may sound, I really wanted to talk about Katy Perry this time.)

So – have you seen what Katy wore for the 2012 edition of the KCA? She wore green slime! (dripping – like halter top) with matching neon green shoes and a strange looking asymmetrical green skirt. Oh, and that blue – ish hair! Such a show stopper! I’m guessing she’s not aiming for the “role model” title, anytime soon, huh?

It’s hard to express my feelings about this story: Victoria’s Secret Anne Vyalitsyna (26) who dated Adam Levine (33) for two years just released a statement saying that they separated. Anne V and Adam L are no longer an item. Good? Bad? Whatever?

(I’m looking forward to seeing the next Heidi – Seal, Anne V – Adam moment on Victoria’s Secret catwalk – it would appear, however, that showing off on the catwalk doesn’t help couples stay together)

So it’s finally happening! Mattel gave in to media pressure and is finally releasing a Beautiful and Bald Barbie Doll! Remember we talked about the courageous initiative started by Rebecca Sypin and Jane Bingham? And about Mattel’s disconcerting refuse at the time?

Well, after MGA’s Bratz announced in February that starting June 2012, a bald True Hope Bratz doll edition is going to hit the stores, Matell felt the need to issue a statement saying that a friend of Barbie, a bald doll, is going to be produced in collaboration with the Children’s Hospital Association. Not for stores availability, though, as the new bald Barbie will be distributed exclusively to children’s hospitals, directly to those affected by the hair loss condition. Well, it’s a step in the right direction, isn’t it?

Harry Potter sweetheart, Emma Watson, ventured in the fashion land with a couple of eco – style adventures: with ethical label People Tree and with Alberta Ferretti.

However, once the Harry Potter franchise released its final chapter in 2011, dust started settling both on the HP fame and on Emma Watson’s fashion dreams. People Tree didn’t sell. The Alberta Ferretti project is on hold.
