5 Wardrobe Must Have For Spring 2013 From Balenciaga
September 27th, 2012 by kpriss
Given the muse – designer relationship between Nicolas Ghesquiere and Kristen Stewart, it’s safe to assume there’s a high “risk” of seeing her wearing items from the Balenciaga Spring Summer 2013 collection on the Red Carpet…
Besides signaling the catwalk presence of the gorgeous Liya Kebede and the artsy model queen, Jamie Bochert (or the model du moment: Saskia de Brauw), the 5 key elements I wish I had in my wardrobe from the said fashion show are:
{1} Ruffles. In black and white or variations, ruffles must be in your spring 2013 wardrobe. Because we’re all secretly dreaming of long vacations in Spain… (hit the jump to see the other 4 carefully selected from the entire collection)
Show Your Artsy Colors With Minimalist Artist Tees!
September 27th, 2012 by kpriss
Oh, I love this Tee! It’s pretty and fun! Joyful and.. yes, artsy! Woody Allen is just an example, but if you have friends that are defined through a seriously consistent personal style (like a certain haircut / hairstyle, a certain moustache or specs) don’t hesitate in making a tee like this one for them! It really is a special kind of gift, a fun, witty one! {thaeger}
Prada’s Real Fantasies Fall Winter 2012. As Real As Alice In Wonderland!
September 27th, 2012 by kpriss
I always think to myself that I should stop taking Prada’s fashion films so seriously. Or that, maybe, I should collect them and keep them for a trip to Amsterdam. Maybe that would explain… Anyway, the latest from Prada Real Fantasies Fall Winter 2012 comes with artwork by Jeroen Koolhaas and Lok Jansen and photography by Phil Meech (music Frederic Sanchez). Don’t try this at home!
5 Fashion Trends To Pick Up From Mugler Spring Summer 2013
September 27th, 2012 by kpriss
I actually loved Gareth Pugh’s Spring Summer 2013 collection! The theatrical feeling and the timeless quality melted my heart, especially from Pugh’s revolutionary fashion eye.
So I’d like you to pull out your trends book and note:
{1} Leather Geisha – because we’re so theatrical all the time. (I have no idea what other name is more suitable for the lovely looks used by Gareth Pugh for an important part of his collection. Leather skinnies and high collar, really structured dresses. Lovely. Definitely wanting!) Hit the jump to see the rest!
Get Physical With Saskia De Brauw And H & M!
September 26th, 2012 by kpriss
Because I’m tired and having enough of seeing Lana del Rey in her H & M ads all over the place, I vote for change! (in this case, for Saskia de Brauw). Her campaign images for H & M’s new season remind me of the “Flashdance” type of physicality. And the heavy contrast with Lana del Rey’s overload of vulnerability really helps in keeping things balanced. (I count on checking their lingerie offer this month following this campaign!) {HM}

Alabama Shakes Hold On
September 26th, 2012 by kpriss
Oh, I’ve been loving this piece for so long, I forgot to mention it to you! But I’m going to make up for the lack of Friday Break last Friday by bringing it today: Alabama Shakes Hold On. It’s really a great song through and through, it’ll spice up your Hump Day!
(and, just to talk coincidences: I came across the video – I didn’t know they had one – while browsing a bridal boutique’s blog. Let me explain: I missed this Friday Break because we were invited to a wedding. I was reminded about that because I found this piece I really love on a wedding – related blog. Sometimes, the littlest things hide the greatest surprises…) if you want to know more about Alabama Shakes, you can head on to their website here.
Lady Gaga Wants You To Be Brave About Your Body
September 26th, 2012 by kpriss
Because she is. As we all know it. I admit that’s one interesting way of putting it. After she was blasted by the media following her debauchery on the Amsterdam stage, Lady Gaga is turning things around by initiating a Bravery act in which she’s also confessing to her eating disorders and pushing her little monsters to make her proud and be deaf at criticism. Dear Gaga, this is for children. But good one, though! {BodyRevolution}
World’s Most Expensive Manicure: Kelly Osbourne’s Emmies Black Diamond Nails
September 26th, 2012 by kpriss
Well now! Black Diamond nails worth a $250,000 isn’t just for everyone. And surely not for everyday occasions. But Kelly Osbourne wore the sparkling precious nails at the Emmy Awards this year and since that evening, they keep on making the rounds of the interwebs. (after all, everyone loves talking about stars… The Red Carpet kind or the manicure kind)
Azature Black Diamond Nail Polish, with 1,118 diamonds worth $132,800 comes in a multi faceted bottle with yellow gold lid making it the most expensive nail polish in the world! Gold is soooo yesterday! I imagine it’s hard to choose between buying a house or buying a new nail polish…
