Beyonce In Vogue US March 2013
February 10th, 2013 by kpriss
So the rumors were true, then? Beyonce is really gracing the March 2013 issue of Vogue US! Instead of seeing the pictures leaked earlier on the interwebs – which were proven to be from Beyonce’s next tour promotional material – we have an entirely new set to talk about!
Photographed by Patrick Demarchelier, Beyonce works her unparalleled charm from the very cover on. But don’t expect something radically different from the inside pictorial – it looks just as retro as the cover does.
Jason Wu Bags And Shoes, Fall Winter 2013 2014
February 9th, 2013 by kpriss
It’s that special time of the year again, when everyone’s who’s someone in fashion is fighting for the best Front Row seat… The Fall Winter 2013 2014 fashion week is on. And even though we’re heading towards the Spring season, the snowy weather won’t let us forget about winter.
Talking about the Fall fashion week is so weather – appropriate! Have you seen Jason Wu’s Fall 2013 collection? Oh, what a question – of course you did! Everyone and their respective dogs did! It was such a strong, empowering collection! Leather, strong hues and a lot of black.
But have you noticed the accessories? Let’s hit the jump and talk about Jason Wu Fall 2013 Shoes and Bags!
James Bond Theme: Adele Skyfall
February 9th, 2013 by kpriss
The Grammy Awards are up next. Who’s your favorite this time? I’m rooting for Gotye and The Black Keys (they’re nominated for Record of the Year). But so many amazing artists are being nominated as well! Paul McCartney’s for his Kisses on the Bottom album! Even Alabama Shakes for the great Hold On we talked about.
But Adele is nominated as well, for a Best Pop Solo Performance (for Set Fire to the Rain at the Royal Albert Hall – you can watch the performance right after the jump!)
But before we got that amazing performance – Adele is always incredible in her live performances – I have to talk about how much I loved her Skyfall theme song! I said something a couple of days ago about listening to that song almost every day since it came out…
5 Looks Katie Holmes Would Wear, Holmes & Yang Fall 2013 Collection
February 9th, 2013 by kpriss
Honestly, would you label Katie Holmes with a ‘style icon’ denomination? Because I wouldn’t. We know better than that. We know that the only times she was struck by the fashion lightning was when she was friends with Victoria Beckham. But those days are long gone (I’m assuming their friendship too) – Katie Holmes can’t take the style pressure on a daily basis.
But then again, she’s developing this fashion collection with her friend / stylist Jeanne Yang and they’ve boldly presented their latest creations during the New York Fashion Week. But – fear not, my friends – this is not a fashionable collection. I wouldn’t go as far as call it stylish either. It’s like Katie Holmes hosted this wardrobe wishlist presentation or personal walk – closet open doors day.
All the looks seem created around her persona. With no other trends reference or contemporary fashion boldness. From a total of 15 looks, hereby 5 I think Katie Holmes will most certainly wear. From the Holmes & Yang Fall Winter 2013 2013 Collection.
{1} the dark military coat shorter than the blue shapeless dress underneath. My Mom would wear this. So would Katie Holmes. Because she’s just as up – to – fashion – date as my Mom.
Cara Delevingne Covers Her First Vogue UK March 2013
February 6th, 2013 by kpriss
So it finally happened! I guess this rules out this month’s Vogue for Agyness’ sweet comeback, huh? Cara Delevingne, the new hot model in town snatched Vogue UK March 2013 all to herself. Which is a big thing to say, given that her pictorial only counts 7 pages.
Of this issue’s 420 total! However, she has been photographed by Mario Testino, so I shouldn’t take things too lightly! After all, she was named Model of Year by the British fashion authorities and she has that sweet twisted kitten face people in fashion appreciate so much! (reminds me of Posh)
Karlie Kloss Clutch: Jason Wu $ 2,195 Karlie Box Clutch
February 6th, 2013 by kpriss
Talking about hot models: Karlie Kloss has her own clutch imagined & designed by Jason Wu. And I’m honestly loving this idea – naming bags after famous models or fashion individuals. I know Marc Jacobs did it before (and Mulberry too), but Jason really sticks to it, adding another catchy name to his fancy bags collection.
Karlie Box Clutch joins its sisters Daphne and Jourdan bags with not one but two colors to choose from! The clutches are made of metal and silk and lined in black nappa leather (swoon).
Arizona Muse, Lady Spring In Vogue China March 2013
February 6th, 2013 by kpriss
Now this is how a proper Spring magazine cover looks like! And this is what a lady looks like! Arizona Muse, although always a tomboyish mess in my head, looks so pretty, elegant and romantic in this picture, I couldn’t just look away and ignore it.
Dressed up in Chanel, photographed by Inez & Vinoodh, Arizona’s coiffed bob cut (ahem, that’s ‘mom hair‘ for the fashion snobs out there) has a timeless appeal. Especially in such a spring set where the soft pink and purple infused cover hues seem spilled from the very details of her dress.
More: doesn’t this remind you of a Vogue US cover? It has such a star power, that it’s hard to get over the fact that Arizona is just a model. Sure, a very good and praised one, but a model nevertheless!
i-D Kate Moss, Karmen Pedaru And More, The Alphabetical Issue
February 6th, 2013 by kpriss
Not a day without Kate Moss. It’s not intentional – or maybe just a little bit – it’s just that fashion can’t get enough of Kate Moss. Here she is, on the cover of i-D magazine, the Pre Spring 2013 issue, also called The Alphabet issue.
There’s more than just Kate Moss taking cover for this special issue – so far we only know about her, Karmen Pedaru and Suvi Riggs respective covers. But we also saw Kate Moss’ entire pictorial, signed by Danielle + Iago. And if we look past the airbrushing, we’ll i-D iconic Kate. (pun intended)
