The most important wedding from the Royal Wedding onward, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s secret wedding ceremony took place a week ago. Famously private about their personal life, the couple celebrated the special day with just 22 guests.
Too few details emerged to satisfy our Brangelina thirst, however, People magazine just published photos of what will most certainly be one of the world’s most famous and copied wedding dresses: Angelina Jolie, the bride, was wearing an Atelier Versace white wedding dress!
The antique lace and silk white simple dress was designed by Luigi Massi of Atelier Versace, a close friend of the family (Jolie said) and completed with artwork hand drawn by the couple’s six children and sewn onto the gown and veil. The wedding took place in the family’s French castle Château Miraval, in the French Provence, the village of Correns.
Brad Pitt was wearing a suit he already owned, coordinated with the boys suits – Maddox, Pax, Knox and even Shiloh were all wearing black suits (for Shiloh there were shorts and a top hat). Zahara wore a dress, also designed by a friend of the family (Adama Kebe) while Vivienne chose a white dress she already owned. The simple, yellow gold wedding bands were designed by Robert Procop (who also designer Angelina’s engagement ring).
“Luigi is like family to me and I couldn’t imagine anyone else making this dress,” says Jolie in her interview. “He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together.” “It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter,” both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt gushed to People magazine “It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family.”

That dress got lost in translation !
I love Angelina’s gown the bodice is so simple and elegant. As for the veil and the back of the gown with her children’s art I just love it! It is so loving , joyful and fun! It was a family affair and far from the reality show/Vegas production that was Kim and Kanye. Congratulations to the whole Jolie-Pitt family. : )
An ‘intimate family affair’ with photographers of People and Hello Magazine? Just PR business as usual for these two. Or her’s. He’s a sort of puddle as an acquaintance of mine described him last week after she saw this shoot. Lol! Imagine the time they have spent for the preparations alone with two magazines. Then flying in between other occupations for two days to their lavish castle in France for ‘the wedding’ and then after weekend get on with their work.
And of course the $5million they eared with posing for these magazines goes to charity to remind us all how caring they are with sharing. Sharing? No one has ever had insight in the numbers of their charity foundation and where the money really goes to. I would love to see it. Because I’m not a blind believer.
After the wedding Mr. Pitt-Jolie or Mr. Jolie-Pitt took a break of the new movie Angelina wrote and direct and both produce and are lead players so Brad could spend time to promote James Packer’s Macau casino and will be paid $13million for two days work on that splashy short film!! Ironic much?
Why didn’t they take a break for a honeymoon with their so beloved children after their ‘fairy-talish intimate wedding’? Of course the nannies and bodyguards took care of them. I believe they hired great people since the children look happy most of the time. But they don’t know what a normal or relativity normal life is. I hope I live the day Shiloh finds out she’s a girl and want pink dresses and all girly-girly things or Maddox writes a book about his beyond vain, self centered and self obsessed parents.
And worse? Last year when Angelina was so busy to raise awareness with her mastectomy I just knew the new breasts would be bigger than she has ever had. And yes, that happened.
Once when you see what these two really are about your love and worship will die…..I once loved them too you see….but that was once……and no, Brad leaving his then wife has nothing to do with it. That was his choice. That’s the only thing I laugh about people when bring this up again after all these years.
But best of luck to the Jolie-Pitts but just for the sake of these six children. I wish no child an unhappy life…..I wish every child a happy upbringing and living happily in the future. All the children, all, all children!!
