I was thinking what should I call this piece. And haven’t come with the right answer just yet. So instead of focusing on the title, I will develop the story and see what it evolves in. And then, I’ll name it.
So what’s it about? Gwyneth Paltrow. What’s she done this time? Umm… nothing out of the ordinary. For a star. I mean she was out looking like a model and saying that it’s not the genes and not sheer luck but hard work and intensive exercise. At the same time she would most definitely want you to buy her new cooking book (My Father’s Daughter) as well as subscribe to her Goop newsletter and buy her (future) new music album in-between.
Because Gwyneth has it all – she has a handsome looking (famous) husband (cum musician), two lovely kids (a girl and a boy), impeccably good looks, success and the list could go on. Up until it hits the “people’s love and appreciation”. There it’s a flop. Why, oh why doesn’t Gwyneth charm the world? there it goes – I found my title! (I’m not the only one asking the above, see for yourself here; photos via)

Gwyneth Paltrow is the popular girl in school that no one likes but everyone desperately seeks approval of.
At the end of the day, she’s a privileged individual who was handed her career at an early age (thanks god-daddy Steven Spielberg). But I’m puzzled why she desperately wants everyone to like (or buy) her now?
I wonder if her film roles are hard to come buy (other than Iron Man, I don’t think her movies make money, and NOONE went to see Iron Man to watch her), and if her pay rate has dramatically dropped?
Yes Gwyneth Paltrow is fortunate that she was born into the family she was born into, but I try to look at the things she does, like GOOP as trying to be positive and give something back. :)
Oh and I mos def do not think she is better than me or anyone!
She’s definitely better off than I am. That’s for sure but she ain’t better than me.
