Who is Violet Darkling? It’s the artistic alter ego of Louisa Richwhite, a passionate designer of New Zealand with a weakness for mystical and magical things. Her artistic education was perfected in London and also through her work with New Zealand fashion designers Karen Walker and Mala Brajcovic.

There’s little else I would like to add except that Violet Darkling’s first collection – Treasures of Darkling Wood is just as enchanting and gorgeous as I would like any hidden treasure to be.
