The Breil Weil Dilemma

Since someone has problems with justice and it’s getting sued for several millions dollars, you’d say he wouldn’t get even in hundreds miles of range of the damn thing that brought them the misfortuned trials. Well, that’s not Charlize Theron’s case! On the contrary! The signed contract with the Watches Producer Raymond Weil stipulated that she wore a Weil Timepiece in all occasions, she was not even supposed to wear jewellery that wasn’t Weil approved! Well, she chose a Dior Watch for several add pictures, she got caught and sued for breach of contract.

Now we hear that Charlize Theron signed another contract promoting watches! With the Italian luxury brand Breil Milano. Let’s see how that turns out!

That is Yu, by Mane. One of the most expensive fragrances on the market (5.000$) produced in limited edition – 500 bottles and with exclusive retailer – Bergdorf Goodman, Lane Crawford in Hong Kong, Nordstrom.

The perfume wears Cecile Krakower of Mane’s signature and it was obtained using “Jungle Essence” technique ( using a portable pressurized canister and solvent to conveniently extract essences of plants in the field) : “The heart of Yu features accords like champaca and genet, both of which were collected using the jungle essence method. The same method was used to collect the scent’s top notes of African freesia and Asian mandarin tree leaf. Other top notes include bergamot, tangerine, orange flower and ylang-ylang. Rosewood oil is included in the heart and base notes include vetiver, sandalwood and vanilla.”. The name Yu means rain in Chinese. The 500g crystal bottle was created in an organic form by Brosse.

DKNY expanded the Be Delicious line with a new fragrance : Be Delicious Night.

The fashion designer Donna Karan launched her new perfume from the label DKNY (Donna Karan New York) with a party, the 8^th of November 2007. Here are some of the celebrities who participated Ali Larter, Christina Ricci and Marisa Tomei:

For those of you curious about the scent : “Delicious Night opens with frozen pomelo, crushed ginger and a chilled blackberry martini accord. The heart features purple freesia, night-blooming orchids, satin jasmine petals and purple iris. The scent’s drydown is of molten amber, incense, myrrh extract, patchouli and velvet vetiver.

The collection includes eaux de parfum in two sizes, 1.7 oz. for $52 and 3.4 oz. for $68; a 5 oz. body lotion, $38; a 5 oz. shower gel, $32, and a 0.5 oz. lip gloss, $16. The scent is expected to appeal most strongly to women in the 18- to 35-year-old demographic.”stated Trudy Loren , the creator of the Be Delicious Night by DKNY.
