Beyonce Is The Gentlewoman Spring Summer 2013

Now let’s see: we’re 50 something days into 2013 and Beyonce already has three magazines covers under her belt: GQ, Vogue US and now The Gentlewoman Spring Summer 2013.

The first half of 2013 looks under Queen B’s reign. Which is nothing short of amazing news for Beyonce since she’s actually going on tour this year, her new Mrs Carter tour with royal promotional material! After years of Gaga domination, it’s B’s time now, she’ll be selling out stadiums and concerts arenas without even blinking!

Back to Beyonce, The Gentlewoman: the cover (as the entire pictorial accompanying the published story) was shot by Alasdaid McLellan and – although clearly different from her Vogue photo story – only helps us understand that ‘it’s Beyonce’s world and we’re just living in it’, like Anderson Cooper famously said after the Inauguration lip-syncing issue!

And it is, isn’t it? Beyonce’s world! Wearing Dior and a nicely, simple, pulled back sleek ponytail, The Gentlewoman is Beyonce this Spring Summer 2013 and Beyonce is The Gentlewoman this year, so far running her world and ours as well! The new issue will be available starting tomorrow on UK newsstands and all over the world.

I did yesterday. A “pirate” version.
It is an exercise of egocentrism and delusion. I guess if you repeat thousand times you are the queen of the world you start to believe on it.
If I didnt like her before the “movie” now even less…

Oh dear……this was to be expected. But I still want to watch it ;)

I can’t recall any of her hits other then “Single Ladies”….I’ve no idea….. really, not the slightest idea……
I liked her Glastonbury performance. Got to admit that. Which I watched out of curiosity.

ana, I just watched Life Is But A Dream. I must say I found it entertaining. I am aware a lot is fake as I was aware once watching In Bed With Madonna. But I still loved watching it nonetheless.

Well, I told myself like a zillion times I am a queen and able to handle everything. But it doesn’t work that way. People has to tell you a zillion times you are a queen. She has been told that since she was kid. Her husband probably still does….:)
We the audience create people like her. Not us in this case but you understand what I say right?
I don’t hate her, I ain’t a fan either. Beyoncé is a great performer though. I understand she’s adored.

Jay-Z comes from far and has achieved a lot I admire him for.

Life Is But A Dream was broadcast on Dutch public tv because Beyoncé -Mrs Carter’s show is here next Monday. And was sold out in no time!
