Giorgio Armani Bronze Mania Ochra Makeup Collection 2008
May 11th, 2008 by kpriss
With all the media attention he’s been getting lately because of the Met Costume Institute Gala, Giorgio Armani had to answer the question that comes to everyone’s lips when seeing him: “How do you maintain your tan?”
The answer was pretty much what we would expect from someone like him: vacationing (of course at his house in Antigua). Well, you can’t really vacation at anytime, so here’s the alternative – Giorgio Armani’s Bronze Mania Makeup Collection for 2008 (feel free to admire the collection after the ad picture with Sasha Pivovarova for Bronze Mania).
Hermès Kelly Bag – Do It Yourself!
May 11th, 2008 by kpriss
You already are highly familiar with Hermès. Or at least heard of it (thousands of times). Then you also know that Hermès bags are highly coveted and you have to get on their waiting list if you’re looking to buy one of the famous Kelly or Birkin.
Well now they must have changed the communications responsible or somewhat higher ranked people charged with consumers relations because something revolutionary was spawned! Hermes US features an unexpected help for customers who want their own Kelly but are eager to have it right away (I wonder if that’s going to stop in any way the eBay Hermès commerce they’re trying to sink) – Do it yourself Hermès Kelly (right after this first picture you’ll get the instructions!)
Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen Elizabeth And James Collection Fall 2008
May 10th, 2008 by kpriss
After seeing such brave appearance at the Met Gala, we get a sneak peek at the brave work for their clothing line “Elizabeth and James” by Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen.
This line, named after their younger brother and sister is more affordable than their original luxe collection “The Row”. Looking at the 2 photos preview, I have just one thing to ask – how do these two always manage to make fashion and style so complicated?
It’s like the Fashionable Outfit after the Olsens is such a heavy project, it has to be overcharged with details, with colors, a composition of different styles altogether mixed-up in a complete madness from two mixed-up girls.

Mandarina Duck (Mariella Burani) Red D-Bag
May 10th, 2008 by kpriss
Latest news saying that Mandarina Duck has been bought by Mariella Burani (for $57,3 million) reminded me how I always loved this brand.
Don’t really know why, maybe it was the cute logo, maybe was “just because”, I always found Mandarina Duck extremely wearable and durable. And for my practical sense, it worked wonders. Just take this D-Bag for example: not only it has a purple impossible to overlook color and such ingenious system I’d take it shopping any day: It’s a 2 in 1 (non-leather) bag, one bag with shoulder strap and the other with hand handles.

The Itty Bitty Bra To Replace Wonderba?
May 10th, 2008 by kpriss
For every Wonderbra nostalgic there’s a new way to shape up, it seems. The Itty Bitty Bra coming to the rescue of the less than “C” cup size adding the ‘petites’ resources when it comes to shopping.
It’s well known that most of the women today don’t know how to choose the bra they really need. Stole away by marketing and high expectations, they forget health is more important than anything. Comfort and support should be looked into when bra-shopping. Of course it’s important to have a perfectly fit “stylish and fashionable bra for women the WonderBra has left behind”, and I’m not trying to be an ignorant regarding this initiative, but how could the wonderbra effect be replaced?

Shiny Leggings For Lindsay Lohan Leggings Collection
May 10th, 2008 by kpriss
So this is how they look like? Shiny, dark, somewhat combining “Baby one more time!”-stylee with the sidewalk-after-midnight-stylee.
At least she got her wish and in the same time a perfect excuse to continue wearing leggings when everyone else tossed them away. If I think again, Miss La Sevigny didn’t put away hers! Then again, she plays virgin innocent so she has her leggings all white. Pf! (Look like those pharmaceutical semi-socks you can wear after you’ve messed up your joints or over stretched your muscles doing some serious exercise). Back to LiLoLeggings – what to make of them? Adopt? Reject?

Chloë Sevigny Prestige Magazine Hong Kong June 2008
May 10th, 2008 by kpriss
Chloë ’s on the loose again! She broke free from her blissful absence from any magazine and we get to scratch our eyes to her sight again, this time in Prestige Magazine Hong Kong.
It’s an entire interview, looong, booooring, and as she mostly answers various questions “cool”. I thought I’d bring some pictures (feel free to check them all out, there’s another three following the first) to your attention, pictures taken by Mario Sorrenti. I surprisingly find them very nice. In an odd kind of way.
The First Hotel Missoni
May 9th, 2008 by kpriss
What’s left to do when you get enough of the catwalk? Retire? No-no! Expand! So not only you’re getting your tired-vision out of the runway, but you take it further, spread it, hoping people won’t notice your lack of inspiration.
Missoni is going into hotels now. Set to begin with two (one in Kuwait and another in Edinburgh) announces “a new and distinctively different kind of hotel”. The press release is always fancying a dream world feeding it up to fantasy people like in a cultural circuit of some kind talking about this hotel in terms of diplomatic headaches:
“an appreciation of detail, an understanding of food and wine, a belief in authenticity, a cognizance of culture from a contemporary point of view, and a strong and equitable set of social values.”
It’s more like Museum Missoni, not Hotel Missoni!
