Dare to wear colorful printed bags? It’s not really generation manga, it’s a bit more. Kidrobot is going fashion with handbags. I’d go for a funny bag instead of a designer stiff bag anytime!

And these colorful ones are sometimes all an outfit needs to break the rules. Don’t match too much, it’s dull. Use something surprising, catchy to draw attention and make people think your outfit is the effortless result of your playful inspiration. No one has to know, I won’t tell!

Having a baby is always motivating for the new mother. Having twins has got to be everything double. But then again it’s lesser time for the mother.

Luckily we have Jennifer Lopez to prove us wrong! Not only she gave up the nanny, but she also has a reality show in the works and a new clothing line because she “wants to look great in the gym and in the street”! That would be the new trend? Active wear? Yoga/gym wear?

The Luxury after Cartier. This is a new way to celebrate – books about success. Not decrypting it, just enumerating, just showing off.

Les Musts de Cartier is a sold out volume talking about the new luxury, the ways of Cartier that “justified luxury by offering a more perfect modernity”. The volume came with a said panther-skin slipcase which I hope completely faux, as faux as the must volume. I would have preferred something more subtle to celebrate Cartier’s success. Something less on the luxury side and more on the art and fashion side of things. But hey, you know … “money makes the world go round”. I wonder if this book contains more than just photographs. It looks like it from the pictures. What do you say?

You know, fashion is an interesting field lately. Not only it’s the promise land of success for the actors and singers with poor ratings, but it’s also a departure point for extreme collaborations.

After cars, helicopters, hotels now it’s a residential project that’s drawing high fashion maison. Like a butterfly towards the flame, there it goes: Versace engages in the exclusive interior design for the Vita Tower, an upcoming luxury skyscraper (set to hit the market in 2010) in Panama. From what I see in the pictures, the Vita Tower looks Versace in more ways than just interior… How further now? What can they do next in the name of fashion?

Because a mother’s routine is always subject to improvement and because a mother’s spirit has to always be up, here’s a bit of clean distraction: Atypyk Vacuum Cleaner.

I know my kids are completely fascinated with my vacuum cleaning. The boys are contradictory – one is in love with the vacuum, the other simply hates it (choosing the furthest away corner of the house to hide in until the vacuum storm is over) as for the girl she’s just vacuum-proof! Sound asleep whenever I start vacuuming. However ghis Atypyk ride-on vacuum cleaner has potential! It surely is bigger than your average vacuum cleaner but it’s so much cuter and helps your kid be aware of the cleaning process. It’s not too handy when it comes to stairs cleaning but until there, I think it’s great! What do you say? will it work?

I was talking with my husband today remembering Fight Club (the movie) and we both agree on many things great about this film. Of course one of the greatest things was the acting. Both Brad Pitt and Edward Norton were brilliant, not to mention Helena Bonham Carter.

Anyway, later in the day I came across a piece of Pitt-news. Not your average gossip article about Brad Pitt but something rather different : he’s going to collaborate with two companies as a design consultant for the environmentally sustainable hotel and American themed development in Dubai. How about it? If his visions for this project are similar to the ones driving him to buy the marble table, I feel puzzled in my anticipation. Do you think he’s really into design? I mean like really, really, not just a signature on a project and marketing his name over architectural projects just because?
